@@DubsBrown Thanks for the comment. I'm researching the patent. Patents trolls are so stupid. And from what I read John P took 1 million dollars and burned it without producing a single game. In this video alone it says he soldered diodes in the wrong direction. Deeproot was another one I found out about that stole peoples money to R&D and do nothing. Backwards mentality. Make the product then sell it.
I don’t understand how Jonathan can present like this but on his podcast he says ‘Er…erm. Errr. Errr. Um….er.’ After every two or three words??? It’s infuriating to listen too.
crazy how a finished product with such a decent designer and team have those fails.. switches magnets buttons programmed but not installed.. solonoids destroying the game.. wth went wrong here.. i could be so beautifull if they put in 1 % more effort
I mean I get the problems with deep root isn't really truly on John. But somehow his previous company and MAGIC GIRL with deep root and where you RADIOACTIVE ATOMIC ZOMBIE ADVENTURELAND kind of followed the same narrative.. Make a lot of promises with bells and whistles. Take a lot of pre-orders . And don't deliver nothing for years until all the cash disappears.. Mysteriously. I mean don't get me wrong MAGIC GIRL and RAZA really do look like nice games. And the artwork is really top notch. But at the end of the day all the promises were broken. And I really don't think he will have a career in Pinball anymore. Sadly. Pretty sure all the big companies now will not hire him. Well obviously he's burned his bridge with American pinball. I'm pretty sure Stern Chicago gaming Jersey Jack or even haggis. Surely knows what happened with deep root by now. And know the people involved in the whole scandal as well as Robert Mueller and John Papadulk.
Well I mean I don't want to s*** on a guy. But honestly it falls under the rules of. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I'm pretty sure there's never going to be a third chance.. I'm pretty sure his name is blacklisted. Like I said it's pretty sad because that artwork does look good as well as the artwork for Raza.. But in the end who's going to trust him anymore.
