Bei mir biegen sich die Ränder nach kurzer Zeit hoch während dem Backen. Dasselbe auch wenn ich statt Servietten Geschenkpapier nutze. Woran kann das liegen?
@@cobayo1000 Hallo😊 Das hatten wir jetzt noch garnicht. Aber Geschenkpapier ist zu dick und zu hart. Da kann ich mir vorstellen, dass sich die Ränder hochbiegen. Von den Servietten darf nur die obere Lage, mit dem Motiv ,genommen werden. Nehmen sie eventuell die komplette Serviette? 🤔 Oder backen vielleicht zu heiß? Ansonsten fällt uns da nun auch nichts zu ein, woran das liegen kann . Tut uns leid. 😍

Beautiful! Is there a reason you don't use an old toothbrush to remove the baked on napkin? Would it remove the ink too?

We prefer to use a new toothbrush here because there is surely toothpaste on it and then the colors of the napkins are also washed off. And it would foam a lot.😉 👍🥰🥰

Thank you 😍❤ you bake the fimo first with the napkin on it. So when it's out of the oven it's hardened. You can also use cold water, the temperature doesn't matter😊👌

Haven't tried it yet. But we would just give it a go 😊 craftingt is also a bit experimenting😉
You can rebake polymer clay multiple times so the answer to that is yes. The clay will not burn unless you bake it too long.

Does the clay need to be baked before the transferring.

We have only made it with oven hardening clay. But try it with air dry clay. It is also interesting for us to hear if it works. 👍👍💕
How can i glaze the pieces? What should I use for that?
Hi Veronica ☺ we use the glaze for fimo from the brand Staedtler. But you can use also other glazes. The best result, in our opinion, you'll have with semi-matte glaze😊 just check your local craft store!

Clear lacquer..nothing works better, fimo or any glaze of that type will always leave brush marks not matter how hard you try, stick with clear lacquer
110 degree oven? That wouldn't bake the clay. Can you explain?
Hello Nancy. Polymer clay is baked at 110 degrees. As it contains plastic it turns black at higher temperatures and toxic fumes can escape. That you can read also on every packaging. 👍👍👍🤩
I bake my clay at 270 degrees, always have. 110 degrees it would never cure.
@@nancyh9125 Hello again, Nancy! Now I know the mistake between us😉 In Europe we are baking with celsius degree. So I think you mean Fahrenheit degree. 270 fahrenheit are about 130 degree celsius. 😊

i tried this and it didn't work :( I did everything the same as in the video and after baking the napkin came right off. No design was left on the clay sadly :(
Oh that's sad to hear :( did you make sure to use only the top layer of the napkin and to press it down firmly? That's all what we could think of...hope that was helpful anyway! keep trying😊😊👍

I don't see how the clay can bake as it should at 110 degrees. I've always baked at 275. It's hard to find the serviettes with small patterns.
Hi Nancy😊 keep in mind that we are baking the polymerclay at 110 degrees Celsius. That would be about 230 degrees in Fahrenheit. For the serviettes you can also check ebay or maybe your local craft store! 👌

@@Krikreativ just check clay manufacturer's directions for oven temp, celsius or farenheit ... and based on NUMEROUS videos I have watched, bake a bit LONGER than recommended. Thanks for a great little video...very pretty!
