What's with all these F1 channels who have no idea how to pronounce driver and team names? Are they outsourcing the voiceover? Using some sort of AI? Like I assume you would at least watch F1, and so hear their names said by the broadcasters, if you're gonna make a video about it
Sincere apologies there! Yes we are F1 fans, but unfortunately the Voice Over on our team is new to F1, thus the mispronunciation.

Nice person imo, changed a lot, didn't care about the hate he got.
He needed more time, maybe even in F2, but if you have the money, why not do f1.
He showed improvement from almost lapped by his teamate to being within -1 sec. Made great overtakes towards end season (some guy made an overtake comp on yt)
His performance in gp4 of 2nd, Karting 2nd, F3 3rd, F2 5th, decent, even testing for Mercedes and Force India. Outperformed by Mick but they were both in some of the worst f1 cars in hybrid era. It would've been nice to see how he would do in 2022 Haas.
Nevertheless, he has gone on to win a rally away from f1 and is indeed talented.

Honestly, he wasnât fairly done by HAAS. His father didnât start the war lol, but he was a bad driver so he wouldnât be missed at all.

Many spins memes about him. But you know, I love him as a driver and I don't tolerate a person who bullying him. I know he's not a championship material but we didn't know more further about his skill since he only have one year experienced in formula one. Like Mike Schumacher, he have Bad season in 2021 but fortunately he fine his potential right now.

Didnât care for him as a driver, but worry about the precedent that barring participation based on the policies of someoneâs home country. Would be a shame if Zhou is dropped because of escalating tensions with China.

I donât think he would have been dropped if he was a regular Russian citizen, but his father being an Oligarch with close connections to Putin and it being his money that was paying for Mazepinâs seat didnât leave Haas with much choice, especially because it wouldnât reflect well on Gene Haas to have his team and company associated with a company owned by someone in Putinâs inner circle. I donât think Zhou would be an issue if tensions escalate with China because to the best of my knowledge heâs not funded by the ccp.
@@ogethan7532 Good point! I totally agree that the oligarchical connections (and poor F1 driving record) justified Haasâ decision to cut Mazepin. I would just worry that it does set/enhance the standard of drivers being judged for the actions of their home govtâs. Hope for peace and good racing in the future.
Mazepin is my second favorite after Versta!
