Dear, I live in Ireland and I am basically from Madhepura (Bihar). It's been a long time since I visited Bihar, but I love my place more than anything. Many times, I had serious discussions with non-Bihari friends about think positively about Bihar.
Bihar is an emotion which only a bihari can understand. Getting off Patna airport, talking to Rikshawala Bhaiya on politics, eating street food, shopping at small shops, not taking back small bugs, all of this was overwhelming for me. Visiting villages and reliving all childhood memories, as well as conversing with village friends about all old memories. I don't know why we are so emotionally connected to our Bihar.

One thing I must add, that take time to go deep with conversation with the people here, especially during Ganga Aarti at NIT Ghat, Gurudwara, PWC, Boring Road, etc. You will definitely find Patna a fabulous place. Keep it up... 👍

The street food ka scene here is pretty amazing. You get the best golgappas, chaat, indianised chinese, litti and bhelpuri. Absolute best. Momos are good too but not like the ones in Delhi. Chole bhature near maurya lok complex is bomb.
You can also visit Nalanda and Rajgir, roughly 90 km from Patna.
You can explore nalanda University, Glass bridge, Rajgir ropeway and many more.

Except Patna Central and P&M mall. Patna also has two other malls KP mall & Khaadi mall which was inaugurated 1 & half yrs back by CM of Bihar. And soon Patna will have another mall called Ambuja Neotia City Centre Mall it's exterior work is almost done but interior work is still going on & it will be inaugurated within 1-2 months.
Soon we willl have Gravity Mall too :)
80 km of distance Rajgir is located a beautiful place to explore.
There're many places which you've not covered for e.g :- kankarbagh ,Bailey road , boring road ,streets of Patna City ,Nala road and there're malls like Westside and zudio ..and there's and old museum to....😪hope you'll covere these places too. There are even different parks too

I'd like to add something about the transportation, We've something called Rapido Bike Taxi, It's really cheap, convenient and fast. But in summer heat I don't think that would be a good option. BTW Loved this video.

It's is affordable because of
1: Shared autos
2: fewer tourist arrival
3: Nearer to the source of food grains and vegetables.
4: Most of the tourist places are under government.
By the way it's being unaffordable day by day due to rapid development and metro expansion.

I also went to the Bihar museum yesterday but didn't see you, maybe the timing of our visit to the museum was not the same. Anyway, I thank you for making this video on the historical city Patna (Patliputra). Next time you ever visit Patna again do go to Guru Govind Singh's birthplace Gurudwara. It's a great place to visit and to feel peace of mind.

City with extremely rich cultural heritage as you said but people living out here know how much about culture is a debatable topic. I lived in patna for approx 2 months and got some worst experiences of my life. Got 1 time harrassed by a 40y/o guy who was travelling in the same auto in afternoon (that wasn't an electric one but the bigger one because distance was significant) and another time in the bus and after that i stopped travelling from buses and in big autos . Many times I see people starring with their strange eyes and it felt uncomfortable. Never willing to live in such a place.

As a native Patnaite woman, I truly agree. But I suppose it's the same case in every part of India, especially in the North. Be it Delhi or Chattisgarh or Jaipur. & also we all know that India is one of the most unsafest countries for women according to stats. Even rape cases are terribly high in cities like Mumbai & Delhi. We can't blame any one city when it's the scenario of the whole country.

But, for my side, here are some great suggestions:-
1. Sabhyata Dwaar
2. Ganga aarti (only in the weekends)
3. Cafes ( Patna has many restaurants and cafes in boring road and kankarbagh which are worth a visit for it's beautiful ambience and lip smacking food!)
4. Marine drive ( get the cool breeze while driving near the holy river- ganga!)
5. Patna Saheb Gurudwara ( 2 of them and one of the most important holy place for sikhs.)
6. Patandevi ( in the same area as that of gurudwara. It is one of the most important shaktipeeth)
