  • Klim Krios Pro Sena 20S EVO install walks you through a quick installation of the Sena 20S EVO using the Sena Universal Clamp Kit and the HD speaker upgrade kit.
    You can find the Universal Camp Kit at the following link: amzn.to/3czIRww
    and the HD speaker Kit at this link: amzn.to/3cyufgI
    This install will show you what to expect as you go about installing the Sena 20S EVO bluetooth communicator on your Klim Krios Pro. The Sena 20S EVO is a reliable bluetooth communicator which I have personally been using for the last few years on my road bike helmet (a Schuberth C3Pro). The Sena Universal Clamp Kit allows me to move the Sena communicator from one helmet to the other without the need to rebuy another communicator. I originally upgraded the 20S EVO to the new HD speakers, so I have added the HD speakers to this Klim Krios Pro install. This is a simple install which should take you less than an hour. As with any scratchable items, I would suggest you put a shop towel down to avoid scratching the helmet or the shield.
    I hope this video is helpful, I'm always delighted to get your questions comments and feedback.

    Massive thank you for this video and your explanation. I have always only had the Sena system that’s integrated into the Shoei so this was new territory for me. Then I bought the Klim and the Sena 50S, and this video works very well for this system as well, do add it to the search tags. Now I’m looking forward to using my new system.

    Thank you very much for this tutorial, which I watched before buying our two Klim Kryos, and which I've just watched a second time before ordering our Séna intercom (the 50S).
    I'll be watching it a third time as I assemble the intercom!
    I do have one small question though, why the boom microphone?
    You may have mentioned it in the tutorial, but with my bad English I may have missed it!
    Thanks again and best regards from bikers in La Rochelle, France.

      Hi thanks, so I prefer the boom because I have had good luck with this set up with a lot of heavy use many times before. The wired mic may also be a good option but I can’t say how it holds up…might be good but I can’t say. Good luck with your helmets…let me know how it works out. Cheers!

    Thanks for the video, I have exact same helmet and looking for comm options, was looking at Sena 10U recommended option

    • @dualsportgarage
      @dualsportgarage  Před 2 lety

      Thanks, I also considered the 10u and I honestly can’t say how good the 10u is for certain but I ultimately chose to transfer the 20 to this helmet because I like that it has better range, battery life, and total connections plus I like how easy the 20 is to use with gloves on. Good luck with your decision!
      …I would be interested in feedback from anyone with the 10u installed…how is it working out?

      @@dualsportgarage after finding out the 10U is almost the exact same price as the 50R (literally 17 euro), I just ordered the 50R dual pack (my riding buddy needed a new unit), so man6 more features above 10U for almost same price was a no brainer. 👍

    I have the 50S installed, goes in easy enough but really don't like having that piece hanging down next to my collar bone for off road use. Any clever mounting options for these types of Sena's tha tdon't need the part hanging below the bottom of the hemet? or at least not as chunky? I hope they come out with an updated option that has mesh the fits like the special built 10U for this helmet, but if you don't use it a lot for group rides and don't need the range of the MESH network I would probably go with that.

      I'm also looking forward to testing the Sena helmets this season...not sure if it's reasonable to expect a technology company to make a world class helmet that can compete with an Arai, Shoei, or Klim but it would save a step for a lot of riders if they did.

    Just to clarify. You put the speakers behind the cheek pad with ear liner. Essentially it goes helmet shell-sena speakers-cheek pads/helmet liner ???

    • @dualsportgarage
      @dualsportgarage  Před rokem

      Yes that’s right. Cheek pads fit neatly over the speakers.

    I just got the helmet yesterday and ordered the Klim specific 10U. I mainly use it for music and an occasional call but not for bike to bike. Not sure what the major benefits to the 20 would be over the 10U. I have the Sena SRL that is specific to my Neotec2 helmet so I’m hoping the 10U will fit as well in the Krios Pro

    • @dualsportgarage
      @dualsportgarage  Před 2 lety

      I agree, for most people bike to bike is not the top priority. My number one use has always been turn by turn navigation ...so I don't miss my next exit!

    • @turbolag5107
      @turbolag5107 Před rokem

      The benefit to the 20 over the 10 is better sound quality and 8-way mesh versus just a simple four-way. A lot of people on RevZilla are complaining about really poor audio quality of the Klim specific model

    • @PapaDougsAdventures01
      @PapaDougsAdventures01 Před rokem +1

      @@turbolag5107 I can concur that the 10u sound quality is not good and the volume is unusable with ear plugs. This is not the case with the SRL-Mesh in my Neotec II helmet

      @@PapaDougsAdventures01 I have the 20s Evo and I had it made it up to my bell mx-9 adventure but the peak on that sucks and barely does anything as far as far as blocking the Sun and it is very loud at highway speed. I actually just got this Klim Krios Pro and I attempted to install the cradle but as I went to install it I realized somebody else had tried to do the same thing and then I guess got frustrated and sent the helmet back because the left cheek pad is all torn up. RevZilla is sending me out new cheek pads but I'm interested in getting this eventually installed properly

      @@turbolag5107 you’ll love the Klim. Very light and very comfortable. I did remove the visor because I didn’t like how the windshield had different reactions to the sun. I’ve not missed it at all and I love the Photochromic Transitions Shield. Still not sure if I like the magnetic locking mechanism
