When the 6ers went the traditional way, the league forced them to stop and spend the assets. It only works if the players being drafted are worth keeping. Okc got very lucky in who was in these drafts. Clippers could work the draft, but what if the next 3 drafts for them there’s no one good? That rebuild will go on for a decade

Kawhi is the problem. They talk about the Suns problem being that the big 3 haven't played enough together in the regular season, and that's why they got swept. Kawhi doesn't play enough for the Clippers big 3 to get anywhere in the playoffs. I'm glad Gil brought this up. And I didn't even bring up the time he's missed in the playoffs.

Kawhi has been load managed the last 4 years. I get injuries happen, but this is an ongoing situation. Kawhi is 32, with injury history, you cannot build around him any more. They have Bones and Terrance to build around. But then again it's the Clippers injury curse.
