  • Don't skip the shotgun on this guy. He's going to be shooting you in the face from the jump and the sooner you make him vulnerable, the sooner you can shoot back.
He doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as his co-op version.
This is the first boss where Hush is the fastest clearing unit. Usually, Yao performs better since they currently use the same supports and Yao's damage is more frontloaded after ulting, but only one support gets to come for Hard Joe since you need a shotgun and Hush adjusts to that better.

Looks like i gotta wait for Tess rerun since I'm new here, she looks like a good support. Is there any replacement for her if i don't have any ?

If you're building a Hush team, there's no real replacement but you can use Marian Swift with Xinye logistics to quickly build u-energy. This works best with Horn of the Orca (Swift's sig). You can fire, cancel the after-shot delay with Swift's standard skill, then fire again. If you're using a slow fire rate sniper, this will net you ~20 u-energy per second. My first video, which was uploaded before Tess' release, used this strategy.
Tess should be back in ~2.5 months so plenty of time to save.

I found that if you break his face shield while he does the jump animation, you can instantly start damaging him, as it skips his armour breaking animation. Maybe could save a few seconds there but need to be lucky

If you manage to CC him with paralysis and then break the final part, he will also skip the animation. This is easy to do with Sunny Payback since Tess' support skill will cause it to paralyze, but was too difficult in this specific comp to be worthwhile since the breaking animation isn't paused during ult wind-up.

Ok, so I built up Fritia but couldnt get the damage shown in the video, going to say its cause Tess is on my other team so I cant use her. So Tess makes the difference. Anyway I been able to increase my score knowing this on my orginal team. Sitting at 0.9% on SEA atm. Happy with that for now, Hopefully I dont drop :s

@@nobletenshi7659 Tess, with max gear, gives a +115% damage boost across several sources. Her omission will certainly be noticeable.
Glad to hear you made top 1% though ;o

I can kill him on the 1st 4 levels of the neural simulation no problem. The 5th level is really hard. I can break his armor but then he kills whoever I have left while they try to kill him.

If you have a good healer, now is a fine time to break them out. Eatchel is the best choice but work with whatever you have.
If that's still not working, try using a Sniper character to break from range and minimize damage using the pillars he drops at the beginning. It won't be a quick time, but it's easier to survive.
You can bring Lyfe 4* to paralyze him as well which will stop any attack. There's a 15s lockout on CC so you can't stop everything, but you can at least get rid of the most dangerous moves.
