Interesting to see the combine head before it's operating so we can see it better. That corn is hard even on steel. I have seen something like this when we used to do sweet corn for the cannery's that then put in the grocery store. But that's of the direct here. You should adjust the row units tighter like Drago recommends before you spend the money on new knives! Start every season off that way and never look back
the knives were beyond worn. we definately got our money out of them. we switched out our type of grease on the row units so they move more freely on their own this year. we were very happy with how the head performed this year

Yea changing rolls out is a pain but defiantly worth it. We just got done swapping out the deere rolls for new 360 chain rolls.
jealous. wish we could have done the chain rolls. some day hopefully
