Tillage on Dry Ground=Rough!
zhlédnutí 1,5KPřed rokem
We get through tillage despite the challenges the very dry ground presented us. Dry ground is very hard on equipment but it needs to be done to be set up for success in 2023.

Baby Tractor Ride While Y-Dropping

*Disclaimer-this was filmed with GoPro that is why the audio is quieter* I continue y-dropping the corn and my wife and daughter come for a short ride along; the tractor rocked side to side without duals a little too much for them to stay long.

Put a restricror in the grapple lines, that should enable you to ise grapple while curling
I pick rocks every year. We use a Degelman 660 Signature and also pick rocks by hand into the bucket. It never ends. On my tombstone, it will say the rocks won.
How do you free roll it? I have the same and can’t figure out how to roll it backwards being my motor is bad on it
I use a mud flap from a tractor trailer 😂
Super
I know this video is old old......lol. But curious as to what the issue was? Nice tractor.
Been missing your videos my man!
Glad to see you’re doing well.
Great to see another video.
What happened to you?
Happy New Year!
Where do you get your turnip and tillage radish seed?
We recently acquired an 8870. Should be a good fit for us. Quick short on my channel. More to come this coming season.
I currently work at this facility! It’s funny how it just came across my feed. 😂
Hi there!! what brand and truck model was that?
With a yield monitor you need to set the top gap to 3/4" with the adjusting bolts then adjust the elevator chain tension from the bottom. We didn't know that and tighten it like you did and wore out the top deflector plate. We had a retired Case IH mechanic come out and replace our elevator chain, sprockets & deflector plate. The adjuster wasn't level so the paddles shifted the grain to the right side and wore the side plate through (a lot of work to replace).
Nice
i think these companies put a decent grinders on expensive models and cheap grinders on the smaller models so they can make more profit. They can put the grinders that work on the smaller models but wont.
I can't see where you put the chain.😊
yikes. correct crop for correct ground. no till. at the very least the field will flush less topsoil but at the same time. such a bad idea this hyper push towards tiling. it's normally a sign you need to no till a field and get some herds on it. recover it instead of tilling it and what not.
You need lessons....
Great looking Combine!
Most of the videos I see of tile are of the elimination of standing water on the top. So, don't give me the sermon that it is only for the water table rising. Not to mention that I want that water table to be as high as possible going into July-August.
During last year's drought I was glad I didn't have tile installed. I just can't help believing that the crops would have been even worse if I did.
Hell no
SCORE!!!
I agree. Gotta use punctuation.
Congratulations!
Minnesotans are so kewl >.<
Superb demonstration of striping. I learned a lot.
Phenomenal video. I am a big fan.
How much did the bin weigh ,and what size crane was used?
Which roller kit is on the 930R? Every kit that I've seen claims that rollers can't be used on the R series because of the hydraulic lift lines/mechanism being in the way.
I guess he doesn’t respond. I have the same question!
Hey can u switch the joystick controls to your own settings??
I have the z510a 48” deck great mower but the Kohler engine is a shaker I have to keep the mount bolts tight
You are putting the machine on backwards. General rule is too have your heavy end going up hill
unless you have a specific model with a turbo and an owner's manual telling you about your model being the exception.
Glad to see you back hope to see more
The speedometer goes to 100 MPH. Holy Shit! A few years later, IH and Stewart-Warner toooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnned it dowwwwnnnnn, to 80 MPH, which it should always have been. Can you imagine how f*cking dangerous it would be to haul a 1,500-gallon tanker at 100 mph? Suicidal. That looks like a Ford radio. Nice old truck.
When getting out of a forward gear to neutral I make sure I am below 7th before slapping it into neutral I don’t think it hurts anything.
Nice to see some green, that ugly frozen tundra is nothing to look at .
So you move the sweep bin to bin ?
Love you Mac ur doing great sweetie!
It was a tough fall for tillage here in west central MN also. Lots of bolts shanks & teeth replaced that's for sure. Had to run everything much more shallow than usual. We actually disced our corn stalks because it got really chunky using the ripper. We did rip the corn ground later after we got some rain.
Those clamp on grease fittings are a godsend. It is frustrating when the rains don't come but when they eventually do it seems like you get way too much!
Great awesome video nice to see u back
Miss your harvest videos
Great stuff
What part of MN are you from? I'm in the ND side, right west of Crookston, MN. I'll subscribe
Harvest time really keeps you busy! Glad you have time to catch up on CZcams uploads!
I don’t understand why your rows are crooked with the tech you have ?
