Love the food on Princess. We've tried Share by Curtis Stone (on Emerald), Sabatinis (on Crown), and Crown Grill (on Royal), plus the pub lunch, which is available on sea days. Share was amazing and I recommend it if you ever get the opportunity (it's only on a few ships). Also love the salads at the International Cafe, I always head there as soon as we board after being in port, glass of Korbel and a salad selection, perfect!
here's several tips for saving money during cruise tripsLook for restaurant special deals. Askonboard or keep an eye out for the occasional alternative restaurant deal to save money on a special meal.Do not over tip. Most cruise lines add to your cruise bill a service fee that covers your cabin steward and dining staff. Go on your own on shore trips. Cruise lines offer a variety of shore excursions in every port of call they visit but charge for them. Look for drink specials. If you don't drink enough to make a ackage pay, look for special discounts.Bring your own drinks. Many lines are won't let you bring alcohol onboard (or they'll charge you a corkage fee), but a few let you bring on soft drinks, juice, bottled water and iced tea. Bread is fantastic on Princess... it's the steam injected ovens. Main dining room is great, I don't need to go to speciality dining onboard. And the crème brulee… ahhhh, I can hear the sugar crackling now. Let's not forget the dessert souffles as well.

Loved our waiting staff and although we loved meeting new people if you prefer you can book a table from your cabin and they accommodate you where they can. Totally agree Alfredo’s was brilliant equally the slices outdoors was lovely. My husband wasn’t with me on this cruise but the sugar free desserts would have been a great treat for him as he’s T2 diabetic & never has dessert. We loved to dine in Pacific moon, loved Amorn and her colleagues who served us there, great service and lots of info and recommendations on gorgeous dishes

Favorite meal is lunch in the main dining room on Embarkation day. Always eat there and Always order a Grolsch :) Love you two! 61 days until my next cruise

We were on Coral Princess last year (2018), through Panama, and went to Sabitini’s.........OMG! That was some freekin’ awesome food. The whole dining experience was another level of service and food quality.......
Nice to hear your accolaides, Ben and David, about Princess Cruises--in particular the cuisine. No doubt there is something drawing you both to the main dining room and it's working. When my twin brother and I were in Hawaii a number of years ago, for breakfast on the first day we went to a quaint restaurant on Ala Mona Boulevard that was a five minute walk from our hotel. We had the pineapple pancakes with coconut syrup. Unbelievable! You'll never guess what we had for breakfast every morning in Waikiki. When you find what you like--go with it.

The ultimate breakfast is also available if you don’t have a balcony. My parents got married on sea princess in February this year and only had an interior room (it was a family cruise so they could only afford 2 interior cabins, but that was good enough for us). Part of their wedding package was the ultimate breakfast which they just enjoyed on their comfy bed.

Really enjoy ALL your Vids Guys. Nice to hear both your Geordie accent. I'm a normal fat Aston Villa Brummie. Finally I have persuaded my Lady ( she who must be obeyed ) to go on a Princess Cruise from Sydney to NZ and back. We are foodies & I like my "Adult' Beverages so we purchased the Premier Plus Package based on your guidance. So thanks again and I'll be doing Slimming World on my return back to Warwickshire! All my cruises before have been disasters ( NEVER EVER MSC ). ( FRED OLSEN OAP HOME ). So PRINCESS better be good food & Beverage wise.

Just returned from our very first cruise ...Royal Princess 4-27 thru 5-4- 2019 We were so disappointed in the food and desserts. I have nothing to compare it to being our first cruise.
Chocolate journeys was a work of art! Did you try the garlic snails?? Absolutely delicious
No I didn't see them on this trip but I have tried them on other cruises. :-D
Honest Cruising snails were on the 24th, looking at my pics, I could smell the garlic first thing in the morning when at the piazza and had s look at the menu over at the savoy.
I just booked a cruise for next year last weekend! We are normally royal Caribbean people but we wanted more quiet relaxing and laid back we are going on Holland America! We are going to be the youngest people on the ship (will be 29/28) but oh well the itinerary is amazing! Out of Rome going to Albania 4 ports in Greece then Naples then back to Rome! Cannot wait
Hey Justine. Being the youngest people is not always a bad thing. Our Princess Cruise was a older crowed but the most chatty and friendliest.

Thanks for vid and especially stating I can order extra in main restaurant, looking at doing my first cruise soon. 1 question I have, I like to spend a couple of hours when eating out in an evening enjoying the food and wine. Do you have a time limit at the tables when dining?
If you have not tried the triple smoke hamburger then your missing out. It’s on the grill up on deck usually next to the pizza. Just FYI.
I know there is a 'coffee card' to get a bit of a deal on coffee at the International cafe but are there any complimentary drinks at the cafe?
Are you supposed to tip for room service? And if yes, is it each time or at the end?

I have found with the room service menu they stop serving pizza after 11 after 11 P.m. which is kind of annoying because what if you get hungry and you want to pizza they should be able to deliver it to your room

I had a lamb kabab, fettuccine carbonara, chicken parmigiana, and that giant chocolate journeys thing for dessert. It was all delicious but I couldn’t finish the dessert.

Haha, our clothes where significantly tighter than when we boarded.
ich have been on ncl gagney,s and main dinning and buffet now i plan to go on the crown princess wanted to ask you ho haves better steaks ncl or princess also wanted to know if there is salmon like i love it and ncl desapointed me only having salmon at the pub one day.

Do you know if high tea is available on the Sapphire & if so, where is it? Some cruise lines have made this a beautiful feature with violins playing soft music while we eat out scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam. It is a bit difficult to squeeze in between lunch & dinner but if someone has to do it , it may as well be me.
And is there a 'British Pub' lunch somewhere?
Hi Steve. The Pub Lunch on the Sapphire was held in one of the dining rooms. On some ships it is in Wheelhouse Bar. They did have afternoon tea too.

Afternoon tea is 3.30-4.30, we went on my birthday but skipped lunch and had dinner later. We only had one of anything tho some chose more, personally, we couldn’t manage anymore. Tea with lemon was delicious and scones were the nicest I’ve ever had.

I enjoyed your dining review and have subscribed to your channel. I did, however, find the continuous and incorrect use of the word “complementary” to be annoying and make the video appear more as a Princess Cruise paid ad verses an unbiased review.
Complimentary” means it is free, but these dining facilities are not free. They are services you pay for as a part of your overall cruise package. Our upcoming South Pacific cruise will cost us in access of $10,000 but it would be far less if the food were indeed complimentary.

Jusy curious if anyone knows if they have much food for vegans - and "healthy" stuff - like fresh fruit, salads, vegetables, rice - i'm a bit of a fussy eater. Just like plain/healthy kinda food - not alot of rich sauces and cakes etc..
my sister is vegan and had no problem finding a bunch of food when she went :)

Complementary definition is "FREE", which of course it's not, as it's all part of the price you pay. The correct phrase is that it's included in the price. Other than that your video was informative. Thank you guys.
Obviously it's not literally free. They meant free to anyone on the ship, hich requires purchasing fare. Picking apart people's grammar is annoying.
