Honestly, I think this game has come to the point, where it's hard to add new, game-changing towers without copying ideas from other tds games. Planet really needs to revamp survival or change the whole towers system if he wants to compete with other tds games. I'm really happy to see youtubers like Kenu, Josh Mats, you and others keeping this game alive. This game has made a huge impact on my life and I wish tower battles would be great again.
It's not hard to add new original things, the problem is the short amount of time to develop the game. Tower Battles was for college funding (?) and nothing more. Now that Planet is in college, what's the point?

From everything ive seen from the devs in the discord, as well as the polls. There is going to be an update this october, being a rerun of halloween 2020, but with a new tower instead of graveyard.

NGL tower battles was the start of the tower defence games and led the way for all the tower defence games on roblox down the years. Props to it for being the Grandaddy of TDS.

john roblox/GDILIVES or idk i have a good game suggestion which is both has strategy and fps features it's called Noobs Vs Zombies Tycoon 2 which has both fps and strategy type genre because there are 2 types of gameplay which is the leader which you do stuff like economy defensive offence etc type stuff and you are trying to destroy the other team's town hall (Noobs/Zombie) or you can be a unit/soldier where you try to defend/attack the other team townhall and you are just as useful as the leader themselves and it has some amazing lore in it and its extremely small but it has a small and loyal community but trust me it will bring you views and I bet the maker of the game would probably put you in the hall of fame/supporters please play this game in at least one of your videos it could be your second next vid or the 10th next vid but please play NVZT2 its an amazing game and you won't regret it.

This is something I always thought he would do when he's about to quit the game. Just make the exclusive towers available and just kinda quit after that. He already announced he doesn't want to do any more events and beings that's the only update we get, the game is going in an even steeper decline. It's all because of laziness. It doesn't take a lot to make a new single damage tower the code is all there.

Yo John, I have a game suggestion for you can play and I think you'll have a good time playing it, It's called "TDS: Legacy" it's basically a recreation of the golden era of TDS (basically from 2020) it has the Egg Hunt 2020 event, Golden Mode, The towers before they were heavily nerf, Mega servers with 8 people, more important ly for you, the John tower, yeah almost everything from the golden era, there are some missing features and stuff like Hidden wave, Polluted Wastelands 1, the devs did confirm that they will be released soon. I hope you can see this comment and give TDS: Legacy a try, if not, that's alright, I understand you're still working on TDX and you still have a lot of things to finish.

You should do an update to TDs you can make 4 difficulties for hardcore mode number one easy easy mode for hardcore would make it be a little bit shorter and easier it will give you less XP and coins but it has the same bosses number to medium has 45 waves has the same bosses pays you a little bit less coins and XP last mode nightmare goes up to 70 waves has all the event bosses you get paid a lot more than regular hardcore number for normal mode same as medium but a little bit easier please keep the game running I'm grinding and I bought a couple game passes have a good day☺️

So how this works is when ur like on ur towers menu in lobby there is a button where it says random if u click it all of the towers u equiped are random towers that u have this makes the game a lot more fun and will make u use ur brain in the game instead of doing the same strategy this is a fun way to make the game more replayable
That called "tournaments" because the restrictions are random as hell lol (you can also spin a wheel online to pick towers for you)

I haven't been playing a year yet and only tower/update I saw was Poopi lol. Already got all towers/skins you can get besides Huntsman since I haven't played any tournaments yet.
tower battles has HUGEE and EXTREMLY HUGE UPDATES, so you know when u dont get updates it's gonna be good
