I like this video so much. If you don’t mind, I would like to ask your permission to share your this video to the other website for the embarrassing reason that CZcams is blocked from accessing in China. And of course, I will give sources of the original website. Thank you so much.
Unfortunately, I can't agree to that because it is against CZcams's Terms of Service to download or share videos, except through the playback mechanisms provided. You can find more info here: czcams.com/users/static?gl=us&template=terms

Hey great video! I just have a question I can’t find anywhere. I know Fortis are always voiceless; Lenis tend to be voiced but ALSO can be weakly voiced or completely voiceless! What’s a word with a weakly voiced or voiceless Lenis?? I seriously cannot find this anywhere ! I think it’s when they’re in initial or final position but I don’t know what it depends on. :/
You're correct, all lenis consonants are partially devoiced at the end of words and after fortis consonants. They are completely voiced between vowels.
@@LeanEnglishPronunciation thank you so much for your answer 👍🏻🙏🏻
oooh man iam from Egypt and thank u very Much I could not understand this from a doctor in Egypt. You helped me a lot. Can I contact you?

A QUESTION: If our vocal cords DO NOT vibrate when we whisper, so how on Earth can we still pronounce voiced sounds? I can totally produce the Z sound, for instance, when I'm whispering, so how is it possible to produce voiced sounds without vocal folds vibration?
Thanks for your comment! When we whisper, all voiced sounds become voiceless. So you produce a /s/ sound in stead of a /z/ sound.
@@LeanEnglishPronunciation then how is it possible to tell a Z from an S even when we're whispering?
@@wagnerjunior6524 There might be slight differences in aspiration but usually it's not necessary to distinguish individual sounds. We deduce the meaning of individual words from the context of the conversation.
@@LeanEnglishPronunciation I see. Thx.
