In case you have a Corolla 6spd between 2012 and 2018 the only way of resetting would be to disconnect the NeGaTiVe terminal for at least 2 min then turning ignition on the second switch and waiting for at least 3 min before turning the car on,
That should reset your light if it’s a minor malfunction in the ECU.

Thanks for posting this! I have Costco tires & have no need to go to dealership every 5k miles for tire rotation. ( I do go at 10K for oil change though)

Thank you say I work at a break shop and we do a lot of oil changes and I never can remember the procedure for his model and make so thanks
That's different than the Canadian cars. Our reset is under the customization menu in the CID, under the Vehicle Customization it has Scheduled Maintenance Reset.

Oh my gosh of course! I feel like everyone should know this because so many times you get your oil changed at a quick lube place and they don't reset your light and then you're just at home frustrated

How do I change the maintenance required on my 2017 Toyota Corolla LE
This only reset my Trip A to zero. Still get the maintenance required light.
ETA: tab over to settings in the menu, drop down to scheduled maintenance, and press "yes" to reset.

Faye, i just had two Toyotas in the shop for oil changes. Both were reset in this fashion. Are all Toyotas pretty similar to this?
Most of them are some variation of this but sometimes they will throw in a curve ball.... Like the Prius C!
Is that every corolla that get a 10000 km always get check engine light on?

I have a 2004 Corolla that has the (very annoying) auto-lock feature. I have locked myself out of this car way to many times.
I have tried to reset it and change the option according to the steps found on the internet, but nothing has worked. (I do not have the manual.)
Any ideas?
The premium package upgrade adds smart key with push to start, Entunes plus and optional sunroof. This has the color screen. Other LE trims have the monochrome screen in which the steps to reset are different

I have a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE with a key so the procedure is a little different.
Mine keeps saying meter settings… I keep resetting it and it’s still the same
Why you just go to settings and rest scheduled maintenance
Do you know anything about the Chrysler maintenance minder system.
I have one, yet I’ve never seen it.
It’s never tripped.
Gosh I think the closest reset procedure I have to that on my channel is on the Mercury.....

I mean I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad idea......
Next they'll have you jumping through a firey hoop, landing on a green square with your left foot, while facing north with a cheeseburger under each arm, while juggling squirrels naked. Engineers should be made to actually perform these Rube Goldberg tasks before they implement them. We get it, they are bored and just showing off their big brain pan. How about we return to the K. I. S. S. (Keep it simple, stupid) method? Videos like this, while entertaining, should be totally unnecessary. My unsolicited 2¢.
