- My Lancer GT is 15yrs old! And parts aint as available as it was back then!
Then Pinoy ingenuity stepped in and I just had to try it.
There are re-bushing shops out there! Look for the nearest M7 or Cruven near you!
Thank you, sir, for trusting M7 for your car bushing repairs.
Part of the reason why there's so many brand new old stock especially for suspension parts is because it was a habit way back to 're-bush' the original component and not buy another original replacement. 90's Mitsubishi were so well known for their poor bushing life (kalampagin). People resorted to truck tires is they were extremely durable and lasted longer than factory. Ride quality doesn't also change much base on my experience.
Recycling truck tires and giving the rubber another chance at life is just pure Pinoy ingenuity. It actually affected the ride of my car. Gets bumpy when you're in Edsa, but the pros is better handling for sure.
@@crustph possible solution to meet halfway is tell the guys doing the rebushing to add extra holes, to absorb it, it will be softer but it will worn out faster but not as fast as the poly. My 2 cents. I always do rebushings to my trucks and indeed its worth it kasi pandeliver, but I also learned something for cars and pickups in the future for softer ride.
Boy oh boy this clip brought back some great memories 😅
