My mom does the same. My sister and I are 27 & almost 29 now. She couldn’t say it properly and strawbabies became a household term. We still say that now to my nephews & the older one corrects us 😂

I think your videos have consistently given me ASMR over the years because they are so unintentional. I appreciate what other asmr-tists do, but it just doesn't give me tingles as much.

My family is from the South so even though I grew up in the North, we would have grits pretty often (at home or when we visited extended family). But then I moved to the West coast for school and I couldn't find any, even regular long cook grits, for the longest time! I finally found some and I'm going to try to make them in the next week, I'm super excited :)

I live in Illinois and our Walmart and other grocery stores now sell regular Grits full cook time as well as the brand you displayed. Our stores apparently have evolved since you lived here, I grew up in a rural area and we had grits that my Mom purchased in our little store in the town closest to where we lived. So it was sold here in the 60's, 70's, and 80's and 90's, it was just very much out in the country, not cities.

Try the oatmeal chocolate chips. They have been a cross generational favorite in my family for decades. I can’t imagine that the recipes are very different. Sometimes we add chopped walnuts or any nut of your choice. If you make them, I hope that you and your family enjoy them.

Oh, it's easy! Just slice the bread up, butter it, add some garlic salt (or garlic powder, or a mix of both), and toast it in a toaster oven or in the stove until golden brown on top! Super quick and easy!
