- This is a non-asmr normal voice interview I made for a Documentary that was being made in Argentina by an Art Student there. I thought some of you might like to see it, so I am putting it up in it's entirety so you can see me "behind the scenes". My wife is the person asking me questions off camera. This video was originally done in April, 2018. I never saw any results from the interview or a documentary from it, so I just assume it never was completed. I thought all of you might want to see how I felt about ASMR in 2018 prior to so many current events of the last few years.

I’ve been watching your videos for years and this is the first time I’ve heard how your channel name is actually pronounced.
I’ve been saying “tih-rar ah dee-gwello”(not sure if this comes out in the right phonetic when read but I hope the point is understood)

Listening to you go on about how we’ve lost a part of our humanity with the lack of community in this modern world, and fact that you said that back in 2018, and we’ve only moved further away from community since then, was so sad and heartbreaking. This is quite a fascinating interview I love the fact that it allows us to sort of see behind the scenes not only about how doctor Andrew Michaels came to be but also about favorite triggers and such. I remember my first time experiencing ASMR as a child, when a friend was explaining an online flash game to me. And just something in his tone, the subject, was strangely relaxing and tingling the brain.

I dont know how long I've been subscribed to you, its been a while and thats for a damn good reason. I can almost quote your Pyrokinesis video word for word, I have rewatched the "stuck in a book" video countless times, all the Reiki and CNE videos and so on. You're a comfort artist.
Whenever I hear the "my name is Dr. Andrew Michaels" intro, I feel safe and seen.
For all of that I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To think that youre just a normal guy is wild to me, because I kind of put you on this pedestal of sorts, from the years of going to you for everything from life lessons to silly roleplays.
I'm only 21, so I still have a lot of life left to live, my teens were tumultuous and difficult but you were one of the people that I could count on.

I remember this interview! I used to listen to it A LOT to get to sleep back in the day! Glad to see the actual footage. It was on maybe the student’s channel back then? But just the audio. Didn’t know it was your wife who asked the questions.
I would say the first time i and probably most people have experienced asmr was from toy story 2 when woody get pached up. I found you through a channel i used to watch and made a weird side of youtube video. You and ephemeral rift and dr. T top 3 channels i listen too when im going to bed. I dont get tingles the same way i used to and its here and there but i like to pretend im engaged in the conversation. Love what you do and keep doing it.
P.s. for a 'you are' video idea you should do a 'you are marvin' video.
For a Non-Asmr video this still managed to be really relaxing to listen to,And as for that store touching objects thing....Might make me wanna try doin that next time i go shoppin lmao

You've come a long way Tirar. Had no idea, you (have?) had to deal with Angoraphobia. The Big Chungus Video must have been quite a challenge then since it has with Bugs Bunny a quite prominent Rabbit involved...okay he is shorthaired contrary to the Angora Rabbits and not real after all.
