Amazing Winter Romance (2020 Hallmark Movie) | Small Town Love of Julia and Nate

We wrap up this winter with Amazing Winter Romance, a 2020 Hallmark Winterfest film that tells the story about a young writer Julia (played by Jessy Schram) who moved to big city to seek better future but only find out that her home town is where she can find her true love, where she has always been the happiest. Nate (played by Marshall Williams) is Julia's childhood friend and has always been, however deep down in their hearts, the knew they are meant for each other and have always been, but Nate's hesitation and fear to confess his love has kept Julia wondering if their feelings are real because he is afraid if things don't work out, he could even lose her as a friend.
Amazing Winter Romance is a simple story, but a lovely story. It is definitely not grand, not filled with twists and turns, because it is a small town love story. Just like small towns, simple and beautiful. One interesting thing in this movie is that Nate built a snow maze, which Julia is afraid to go through because she is afraid of being lost. The maze, to me, is like a metaphor, when she finally got up the courage to walk through it, she realized what she really wanted, things that seem confusing and scary are the things we tend to avoid, but sometimes when we face it, we see things much clearer and find out new truth.
