- Mr. Nothing was released for the Who is Real event. I found him to be very difficult to use, so in this video, I'm sharing you my opinions about this perculiar person from Yen.

i think this type of specialist (called merchants according to the fan translated subclass names) aren't meant to be in the battlefield for a long period of time. jaye is often used as an assassin (drop, kill and retreat) and also a boss killer (by using his s2 to sustain himself), mr. nothing is more on stalling the enemies (i remember someone mentioning that is the purpose of his s1). the only problem with him is his s2 which can ruin auto deploys because of its heavy rng reliant. overall, mr. nothing is just unreliable rather than outright bad.
also, while jaye e0 is really good for trading post (put him with texas and lappy), personally i recommend building him for his self sustain and high dps (meaning high healing with his s2). though in the end it is your choice to build him. great video overall! 👏
They almost function like fast redeploy operators, but way more costly

I recommended you should try Jaye first though. My opinion is Jaye is too strong on the competition against Mr Nothing on the same type.
(I tried Jaye first time on 5-3 Challenge mode where there are 4 red mages with increase damage and range... I really amazed that Jaye can kill those mages one by one, no problem at all.)

For the S1, it is good for soloing lane where medics or medic defenders can't reach, and yes it is good for stalling and I mostly put him right in front of red box so he can filter out strong opponents from weak ones, so long as he don't get one hit or stunned, he'll keep himself alive as much as he can

I actually think that he's somehow a better Yato if she has better map impact. What I mean by this is that if Mr. Nothing is equipped with his S1, both him and Yato can block two enemies with the same nature as fast-redeploys, the difference between them is that Mr. Nothing has sustain and can still take some damage or two to stall the blocking enemies longer, unlike Yato who will get bonked immediately. Of course, situations like Anni and CC ignores this comparisons.
As for his S2, being a Specialist, Mr. Nothing has an above average balanced stats (similar to Weedy) that can be taken advantage of with the ATK buff that he gets from the skill. All three of its effects should be used differently depending on the situation; such as red for increased DPS, light blue for utility, and dark blue for frontline holding with its evade chance and block +1.
All in all, Mr. Nothing can do many things but very little, a jack of all traits.

2 years later I can say that he is at least one of the best options to deal with Knight (second ending) in IS2

@@Fizzyon71 because of Mr. Nothing's easy stans you can practically neutralise Knight's freeze-on-attacker. Little healing, outside source of damage, and annoying freeze is done
Dp cost operators are essentially expensive fast redeploys but unlike most fast redeploys have very decent stats to factor their cost.
Jaye can solo some bosses, in fact he is exclusively a boss killer.
Mr Nothing is a stalling expert, his first skill lets him slow down powerful enemies without dying to them. Which is very useful like in the maps where they spam Sarkaz Mercenaries and you need to slow down the flood risk free.
His S2 is versitile but the rng can be problematic.
Overall its a good archetype if you get your timing right, I would suggest you max one of them if you are finding gravel or red to be a bit underwelming.

@@Fizzyon71 almost absolutely useless in every way, Talent most of the time never comes to play and when it does operators already in risk of dying anyway, S1 stealth remove effect is outclassed by Elysium, Silverash, Scene and any one who can block, S2 while offers good healing and protection it has terrible uptime so she stand uselessly as a emotional support most of the time.
The only maps where is she “useful” is in Talular fireball phases (Shown in Supporters only run), and that one daily map from Cc4 where the Stealth prisoners are super buffed and can one shot melee units.
And Passenger has been buffed, he is a very decent operator now. (Better than Mostima at least)
@@isleep7262 I use her in daily map CC(forget which one) because her s1 make that map really easy(I already try elysium and silverash but doesn't work). other than that map, I never use her

as far as i know he mixes the chinese character of both the "families" he used to belong to. i think he explains it in his 3rd normal talk. also worth mentioning (i guess) is that nothing here is like, nothingness or void
Yea he leaks the enemies with s1 IF HE DOESN'T FUCKING DIE BEFORE THE SKILL ACTIVATES BECAUSE HP REQUIREMENT IS TO LOW
Only i use mr nothing has -3 dp caz and i was try him whan I go call map 01 is sucks :/ and also Jaye suck too :/ they are bottom tier but i not even use than cuz useless
Wait, people are calling this guy bad? Have they not seen his incredible stun game when paired with OPs that drop sleep on enemies? That's 4 extra seconds of no touchy on skills that already give long periods of no touchy! Honestly I wish I had this guy in my roster, would have made R18 on CC5 way easier with my Iris and Blemishine combo.
I just could not find a use for him, hence why I thought he was terrible
@@Fizzyon71 His s1 is great for stalling enemies in the frontline so your other units have more time on killing those that go past him.
