You are a really excellent driver. I much appreciate the way you move your right foot from gas and brake pedal (and vice-versa) without lifting it but pivoting it on the shoe heel. Congratulations ❤

Smooth driving is the best. Love the video. I agree, when I first learned how to drive stick, in my mind I understood what to do, but I was not able to physically perform it right away. It took me a few weeks to truly get it smoothly. Ignore the people giving you a timeline!

I want to reach this level of Zen. Just got my first manual car 2 weeks ago. I feel like I made the learning process more difficult by adding an adjustable clutch stop. I've moved it several times trying to find what I prefer best but in doing so my clutch engagement point keeps shifting.

Got my first WRX, also a 2023, 3 months ago. Not my first manual, but the WRX is definitely one of the more challenging manuals to get used to.

If you want to save your clutch, you should rev match. No rev matching, then don't downshift unless you have to.
