AliExpress Hauls and AliExpress Sales videos are very popular but for reviewers like me it can cause an issue...an overabundance of watches bought in for review and not enough time to review them all!
This month though I have managed to do it without skimping on my usual review routine. The results may be condensed here but these watches have undergone the same treatment as that given to watches afforded a full review!
With The AliExpress Anniversary sale and the Watchdives sale running side by side, I thought it only fair to keep my promise of reviewing every watch from my AliExpress March Haul...plus a bonus watch from Watchdives!

You’re too hard on yourself mate. I’ve always enjoyed your videos but seeing the reviewer (IMO) always adds a personal touch and connection. I will of course watch either way. Next you should do an AI animation of Molly talking about the watches. 😆😸. Thanks for getting in the extra watches!
Unfortunately poor Molly is not well just now so hasn't been in anything. Like all pedigrees she has always had an issue with her stomach. We have been to a specialist to see if we can help her but she hasn't been on form for the last couple of weeks. :(

We will look after her. After she had her hip bones removed I sat with her for six weeks playing with her and talking to her all day. She even had an iPad hanging from the cage inside with a blanket over it so she could watch cat TV and listen to Enya...yes she loves ethereal music! Spoiled rotten haha:)

Thank you. I built it 15 years ago but last year after starting the channel I gutted it and re- roofed it. Put in the new internal wooden skin and upgraded the underfloor heating and put new quality laminate flooring down. It is cosy in winter now and cool in the summer. Before it got too hot and too cold to work in :)

Yeah, i do like that 36mm Explorer at the end. I have the Addiesdive so I won't be getting this one but that's a great little watch! I'd prefer a 38 or 39 but I wear mine about one day every other week. I'm not rough on watches so I'd trade my sapphire for the cleaner dial and likely better lume. That Cadisen looks like an insane value and those blue subdials look great!

Ah, John you have a face! Keep doing this and Jodie will get jealous! Like the Cadisen, but I have already bought six watches on this sale, so I am trying to avoid a seventh. I have had the same bracelet problem with a PD, ended up throwing the bracelet in the bin.

Back in the day myself and a few of the lads were issued Seiko tritium watches but ive never seen them available commercially. The tritium really was the dogs cojones, nothing came close.
The Watchdives really pulls off the early Rolex Explorer better than most I've seen, for the price. When you factor in a 2nd bracelet for £20, bounus 👍The lack of saphire crystal isn't a deal breaker for me as gives me an excuse to take it apart 😂 The dial shown in your video does it for me.

That Watchdives Explorer really look sweet. I already ordered the Baltany Explorer, but that one is 39mm and brown dial, so I might actually convince myself to get this one as well.
Also, so glad for you that Cadisen cater for the tiny wrist community

@@johnswatchjoint I see, they look eerily similar in the pictures, so I guess it all comes down to if you want to go old school size or modern size, unless they picked up some of the feedback on the 39mm version.
The 39mm was no doubt a beauty but it lost something with those original polished centre links and wore awkwardly for me. I prefer smaller though. Not appraised the 36mm yet. Just the Lume and the movement operation. Have the rest still to do :)
Nice to put a face to your (young) voice John. For those of us who want to stay away from flagrant homages, why not an explorer style dial but at least a choice of other handsets? I think only Cadisen has done this but, from reviews it is a little lacking in quality. Regards and happy Easter

I like the WD gada but it's a shame the glass is mineral. I've scratched two mineral faces when i last got into the hobby and i swore i wouldn't buy another mineral glass watch. This was well over a decade ago and I didn't even know about sapphire before i ruined two mall citizens that i overpaid for I'm sure. I think possibly I'd buy another watch with mineral but when sapphire is so prevalent now, it's a tough decision.

It's funny...I am the opposite. My old Pulsar and my other vintage watches are all mineral and I have put them through hell. I am wary of sapphire after ruining an expensive watch trying to catch an elevator many years ago. The glass shattered and the hands and dial were ruined. Everyone has their story to tell haha ;)

I'm essentially a newbie in this hobby as I've flirted with watches in the past, but I've really gotten deep into the hobby in the past year. I've always been into collecting, and I went from firearms to military memorabilia to watches. I've always had a deep love for watches, though, and I wore them as a child, and my dad has always been into Rado.
I'm still learning, and I should give mineral a try again.

Top tip. Never listen to anyone else's opinion to make your mind up. If you like something and want to buy it ...buy it. It's what YOU want. If you fall out of love with it you will know why and change accordingly ;)

AliExpress has the worst delivery PERIOD
How so? Just received 6 watches I ordered 9 days ago. China to Scotland in 8 days... I received 2 yesterday! That is excellent my friend and is pretty typical. The only problematic deliveries I experienced were during the 11.11 sale but that was when China was suffering severe floods.
