Important Update. at 5mins 55 secs I mistakenly said the Sn0138 had an NH38 movement. It is in fact an NH35.
My bad.

Love that easy change Thorn bracelet. Let's hope other brands copy it. That last San Martin is a great looker.
The quick link is superb on the Thorn and yes that SM with the streamlined mid-case just elevates it ;)

That Steelflier looks great as does the Seestern GMT. That Pagani looks even better in the hand, it catches the light really well. I'm not saying much about the others as I've seen those designs before. I do like the Tudor style a lot but I'm finding it's getting a bit denim personally.

Let me give you this....I suffered from acute depression for over twenty years. I tried everything, I was desperate then one day something just "happened" my whole outlook on life changed. When things are at their darkest, that's when you are at your lowest. If you will it, something will happen and it will free you. Look at what you have. What makes you happy? I am sure it is not material. You can't take these things with you. Watches are fun and I am passionate about them but I wake up everyday and take in my life. I don't have much but I am happy and my family are my rock...including that little furry monster! Take care ,,🤗"

I have some very similar issues and have struggled with it most of my life. It's has cost me a lot, but it is getting a little better, and hopefully, the future will be better. My family and my dog (see below) are everything, and I am truly blessed.
I had to put my dog to sleep last week, and it's been a dark week. He was my best buddy, and it really threw me for a loop.
I also had a scare with my mom in the hospital the next day, which was tough. She's totally fine and just had a virus, thank god.
Anyhow... you taking the time to respond and always being cheerful in your videos has truly brightened my week. It's allowed me to get out of my thoughts and not think of things. You might not realize the impact of some fun watch videos and comments, but I hope you understand it does have amazing ripples. You impact people's lives in a positive way, and that deserves respect.

Nice haul. It's nice to get to see these watches on a "smaller" wrist -- my wrist measures about 6.25 inches, so I, too lean toward smaller case sizes. Beautiful photography here, as usual. Thanks!

Just came across your channel and subsequently subscribed. Nice gang of watches you quickly reviewed, have to say there’s none of them I wouldn’t buy. But reality check, if I had to pick one I think it’d be the Thorn even though I’m no much of a diver fan, it just seemed to exude quality. Cheers mate, looking forward to more videos 👍🏼

I have a Thorn 6200 SHY027 and love it. Although some of them look great, I can't pull the trigger on the EXPLORATION ROAD models. 😂

Thanks John, another great range to review. That San Martin BB54 is the pick for me, keeping the gilt on the bezel from the BB58 and at 37mm sounds ideal for my slim wrist. I'll wait till you do the full review but it's top of my list for the next sale.

Yes, the Steelflier, Seestern and Pagani look really good but possibly a bit big for my 6.2inch wrist.
I dunno. All three wore well on me with a wee bit of room to spare..... The Steelflier was a real surprise. It hunkers down nicely :)

Good selection there 👍The San Martin looks great, I love that case and bracelet, I have the sn0116 blue dial GMT and I love it. I rather like the Pagani, if it was 38mm I might buy it. Such a shame Seestern chose 19mm lugs ☹️
Hi Duncan. It is weird but 19mm isn't hard to get anymore. We are all just stuck in our 18 to 20mm mindset because we don't wanna spend money on straps...just watches 😆

This is a great haul. I wish some of these makers would strive to make them thinner. So many are unnecessarily deep in the case. Its like staring down in a sports stadium. Lol. Seriously though they could try to aim for 12mm or less.
It would be nice but that Seiko movement is thick 😞
@@johnswatchjoint most brands still seem to set them awful deep in the case with a fair amount of room between the hands and the crystals. I'd also forgot some water resistance if it meant a mm or so could be shaved off the backs. Every time I open one it strikes me how much wasted space there is.

@@johnswatchjoint I mean I'd love thinner and higher beat movements too but there's room for improvement with the Seiko NH to start.
That Seestern is definitely my favorite of the bunch and it could be a GADA all on its on especially with that deep blue I guess really am a sucker for vibrant colors.
It was the colour that stood out to me too ;)

A shame they didn't use the easy change bracelet on the BB 58 homage. I gave up on that bracelet and just switched the knee from my Pagani black bay Chrono.

That Steelflier case is a one to one of my Tandorio field watch that costs a third of the price.
The more you look into chinese watches, the more you see them using the same parts.
It looks the same but the finishing and the crystal used are superior :)

My fav will be the last SM but in brown dial. I wonder if that Pagani is only inspired or direct copy to the PP.
Im really enjoying the Proxima 1697 Enamel White. I watched your videos 30 times before buying. Very happy with my choice, took months but it was worth it. It never looks out of place and very accurate

I got a Steelflier W10 homage (same crown) in the 11/11 sale on the nylon ... I also picked up a brown leather strap for it ... but frankly I'm liking it on the nylon for now (odd since I don't wear any of my other watches on a NATO). Great lil watch.
I also got the Thorn BB56 homage and love it - but boy was it a pain to resize with the rivit style bracelet (actually had to take it to a jeweler who had to heat it to loosen the rivits) .. that said I'm also looking at their Fifty Fathoms homage.
The early Thorns were a bit fiddly that's for sure 😊
The Cronos BB54 you already reviewed a while ago now comes with a matte bezel too, and I think is looks much better than the San Martin.
The SM for me is better, just my persona and subjective view. They both have a quality about them :)
The first Watchdive is a dead ringer for the Pagani design PD1661 with different script on the dial.

I've been searching for a video of the Thorn SHY037. This is the only one I've found. I don't understand why no one is reviewing this watch.
It's just not a popular watch. I bought it in for review but no one was interested. It then took me weeks to sell it.

So they changed the movement?

I prefer the new Cronos BB54 homage with the aluminium bezel inserts to this San Martin. Something is off about the SM. The colour matching is poor
I have seen both. The Cronos doesn't really compare. It was more of a rose gold which looked weird to me but each to their own :)
I don't buy there anymore/ I order a $10 item. And they want to charge me $30 for delivery
