I love driving my '21 Willy's Jeep Gladiator with a manual transmission. I ordered it from the factory.

Trust me. The only engine option you want from Stellantis is the V6. The Eco Diesel was discontinued for a reason.

I recently purchased a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport.
Love it so far. Yes, it doesn't have all the luxuries of a lot of the trucks mentioned, but you must remember, it's a JEEP, not a truck. It's a jeep with a bed. I believe that's a plus.
If I were looking for a luxury vehicle I would have bought one. Thing is I also own a Genesis. The vehicle I had prior to the Jeep, was an Infiniti QX56. I was looking for something different, and I feel I got just that.
Their are some shortcomings. Price, yes. They are high priced, but hold their value very well. Yes, they are not gas efficient at all. Leg room is a bit tight as well. Ride far from smooth, especially the one I own. It has the larger after market tires, with pretty aggressive tread.
All things said, yes there are shortcomings, but one thing that wasn't said, is that the engines are bad. That 3.6 V6 motor has been around for decades, and has been known to be very reliable.
I admit, I wasn't even a standard Jeep fan, but the Gladiator attracted my attention immediately.
Jeep buyers by Jeeps, because they love Jeeps. Not trucks.

Here is the real reason why sales are down. Interest rates for car loans are through the roof. Yes I agree they are high priced but what truck isn't high priced? What other truck on the market can you remove the roof and doors? Which makes them a little more because of the extra reinforcements needed to the body. I believe death wobble mostly happens on lifted Jeeps.

True, the simple reason sales are slow is PRICING...not because they're not outstanding mid-size trucks.

I have the last of the Jk Wrangler. Last of the steel bodies. So far it's been reliable and easily the most fun and unique vehicle i have owned to date. I road trip it and crawl light technical with it and does both comfortably.

Though always a bold statement, a “Jeep truck” will always be kind of a novelty / niche item, hence I would have to agree with those who believe the concept of “most want one already own one” (including myself!) If in the event it ever gets canceled from the Jeep lineup it would still be a shame, but its “nicheyness” would certainly live on and Gladiators would begin to hold value as good examples become progressively more scarce.

Sound in a Gladiator is way better than a Wrangler. I got a '23 Rubicon at a deep discount and except for the shitty gas mileage, it's a great truck

You are way over-hyping the Gladiator's alleged short-comings and problem areas. I don't have a Gladiator, at least not yet, but I do have a 2012 Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon I factory ordered in January 2012. Some 12 years later, my Rubicon has been THE most reliable motor vehicle I've ever owned. (I'm 76; I've been driving since the age of 16 in 1964.) I plan to purchase a Gladiator "for my wife" later this year when the price on unsold 2024 models takes another dive. Andy McKane, 22 August 2024, Maunaloa, Hawaii.

But the reality is they're not selling fine... I think it's a badass ride especially considering it probably has bigger tires than most of the competition or at least as big as some of the heavy duty competition

If I want to buy a truck I will buy a truck if I want to buy a Jeep I will buy a Jeep so why do I want to buy a crossover because the Jeep Gladiator cannot tow as much as a regular truck and with the longer wheelbase it is not as off-road friendly over obstacles as a short wheelbase regular Jeep so what's the point of buying one

This thing has bigger tires than almost all the other trucks unless you're talking about the Colorado AEV 🦬... I think they have 33s from the factory & it's only 1 MPG different than a Toyota Tacoma hybrid model on the highway for what this thing is ⛽ mileage is pretty damn good + hella good off-road just a long wheelbase you got to worry about. If you kno how to negotiate you can get 15-20K off a Rubicon!! U have the upper ✋ nowadays when u go into the dealer. If you don't know how to negotiate hell I would negotiate over the phone for you to help you get a better deal so you don't get ripped off I'll do it for people I don't even know cuz I don't like seeing people get fucked! Disgusting to me. People have to pay on these cars for at least 5-7 years
