I'm an Argentine resident (soon to be citizen), and it's definitely a great country for quality of life, but it's also a really difficult country bureaucratically. If your only goal is citizenship it might not be the place for you. If you're interested in the country and have a lot of patience and remote income, 100% you should go for it. People just need to be aware that the process takes a long time, so you need to count on being in Argentina for a minimum of 3 years before you have your actual citizenship (most likely 3.5-4). It's also worth noting that the tax system in Argentina is very grey. I'm no tax attorney, so do not take this as advice, but if that's the only thing holding you up and you can spend 3-6 months outside (you only need to stay 6 months per year) Argentina each year, don't worry about it too much.

Good video. I would like to make a suggestion. Maybe you could compare residences in Latam. My guess is the Argentina residency/citicenship, although easy to get, might not be the wisest option when you compare the taxes you pay. Do not forget they still have a wealth tax with very low thresholds compared to other Latam countries where this tax does not even exist. Furthermore, the "con" you mentioned that you can not renounce the Argentine citicenship is a big con and a blank check to any potential future crazy government that wants to implement crazy taxes, which although has very low probability it could potentially happen.

No citizenship based taxation for Argentine citizens
None of these methods would apply for me
Neither marriage, nor baby birth, nor Parents of Argentine Descent
How would you like to obtain residency?
If from the US, what is the base tax?
Try google
Id say look for FEIE. You will have to be out of the country for 330 days a year to qualify.
Type the words "Wealth Tax Argentina"

how about citizenship by marriage to an argentinian citizen, how quick/fast?

No
What is considered income for the rentista visa Is it active income like from a job? Or Passive income? Like stocks savings accounts bonds ect..
Passive income from social security and a pension will do.

Argentina doesn't have citizenship by investment.
how long does it take for the citizenship by birth if you bring your live-in partner to Argentina to give birth? how many months for the baby and both the mother and father to get also a argentine citizenship?
I just recently met someone who did exactly that. Much shorter than the regular path.
The child will get its citizenship within days, its parents 2 years.
what about brazil
Southern Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
If you get a rentista visa what happens when the 3 years are up?
Then you could convert to permanent residency.
