If you get the temporary residency now with 1 day per year requirement. Then convert it to permanent residence with the 1 day per 3 years requirement. Then the government changes it to 90 days/year for example. Do you also need to be there for 90 days/year or do the old rules under which you got the PR still apply to you? So basically do the requirements under application time period apply or always the current requirements that can change every time?
