I love how they turned queing into a feature in the gringots ride. Its a bank, obviously you need to wait in life before getting to the desk.
I was just there a couple days ago. Honestly there is no part better than this. We arrived at the park at 10 A.M. and left that night at Midnight. I spent all 14 hours in the park between Diagon Alley and Hogsmead. There is honestly so much to see and enjoy between the two places that you honestly cannot get sick of it. I honestly wish I could jump a plane and go back and spend yet another 14 hours in Harry Potter world. Its so amazing to see one of your favorite worlds come to life.

they did such a good job hiding Diagon alley, I arrived at the park with early passes at 8 so we didn't see crowds leading to an obvious place. Originally I ignored where it was thinking it was a bathroom entrance, and when I finally decided to go in I almost cried.
Did anyone else get teared up when the orchestra played Hedwig's Theme??? 😩

I have been to this place: both Diagon and Hogsmeade, taken the train, raised my interactive wand and made all of Diagon's charming little elements bend at my will...It is as real as it gets. No detail has been overlooked. Walt would be proud of what theme parks have become. Even if his competitor has raised the bar.

***** Yes,PLEASE don't scratch the top,(I got an interactive wand yesterday) but there is still a free wand repair that comes with it if you do break it. (Receipt required)

***** Walt invented the theme park through Disneyland and pioneered in animatronics. I know Disney didn't create Wizarding World. I just think he'd be proud that theme parks have become as incredibly detailed and innovative as Universal has made them. And then he'd wonder why a broken animatronic yeti with a strobe light on it is sitting in Animal Kingdom while kids are waving their wands at Universal Studios to make quill pens levitate and candles ignite themselves.

I'm so glad that they got Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter to reprise their roles as Voldemort and Bellatrix for the ride.
Yeah, but, by the looks of it, they both chose to play the dumb versions of their characters (as in the last movies), not the scary ones. Wish someone told them that best Voldemort was in the Goblet of Fire and best Bellatrix was in the Order of the Phoenix. I mean, just look at their antics - I wanna kill them not because they're villains, but because of their acting.
And, of course, that was not Ralph's and Helena's fault. They were damn good in the mentioned movies - like really, really fucking good. One can only guess what kind of crappy directing made them turn their characters from complex villains into stupid messes.

The story of Harry Potter is the greatest one I've ever read. Thank you Mrs. Rowling for this magic experience. She gave me so much cozy hours. The movies were overwhelming. An Artpiece.

I wish they went more into all the signage and branding of each of the shops that goes into making a commercial avenue of magical London feel real! That's honestly one of my favorite elements of going. Imagining how fun it was to design signs for things like a wizarding ice cream parlor and pet shop

Diagon Alley was the most enjoyable theme park experience of my life and Escape from Gringotts is the best ride I've ever been on. I've wanted to go back there since the moment I left.
i went to the wwohp in 2014 for spring break, it was the most amazing thing to ever happen to me ever. i was in universal studios for a week and more than 9 3/4 out of that time was spent in the wwohp. my sister and i got picked for the ollivanders show the first time we went in, and my best friend that came with us did the very next day.
+Sinister Squirrel if you are planning on going i reccomend that you get up early and get to the wwohp a couple minutes before it opens if you want to get to do anything, like go to ollivanders, the dragon rolar coaster, honey dukes, the train, or even diagon ally's gringotts ride or the delicious butterbeer carts and shops everywhere (Tastes like the sweetest honey blessed by chubby cherubs)
Just went to Universal this past week and LOVED it!!!! Walked into Diagon Alley and was almost crying that I was acutally there.
I'd came to the end of the books and did not want them to not bee over, so read them again and again until the next book came out. Something Radcliff said in his interview with JK Rolling, "If we made a six-hour movie about Hogwarts and Harry..." I would be first in line to watch the movie and or read the books. I'd LOVE to see JK Rolling write more about these people and those times.

Francesca Mundy Ditto! I agree completely. I mean, the kids nowadays can still read the books and live the magic and watch the movies. But you're right. It won't be quite the same way as we had it and LITERALLY growing up along with them. So glad we got to be part of it.

I remember when I was in 5th grade (2003) watching HP1 on my small 15" TV with a VCR eating popcorn all into it lol I can't recall being a DVD yet or only a few had one? 25 now. Going to Universal Studios this year, ama use my vacation time lol But I still haven't read any of the books. I've only read one full book in my life. I have read engineering books though for college.

I went in Feb 2019. It was like plastic on the outside of the Universal Studios and so detailed on the Harry Potter inside. It was even better than the Disney Imagineering. I was so impressed with each brick and detail.

I'm by no means a child and I'm still crazy about this world
I'm almost 28 and I get excited whenever I would go there. I used to live about 15 minutes away, depending on traffic. And, I bout an annual pass just for the WWoHP. Expensive, But, well worth it.
I'm 35 and I have absolutely NO shame about loving this world and wanting nothing more than for it to be real. It almost scares me sometimes how much I yearn for it. It's also why I think I'm still a single father. I couldn't be with someone who isn't also a massive potterhead like me. It's my life.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I just turned 65 and I’m still in love with JK Rowling’s world of Harry Potter, and all the characters, creatures, twists and turns of plot. It is amazing to me that she had all of this in her head. Then the adult actors make you love them, hate them and cry for them when they run into big trouble, and laugh in amazement of their quirkiness. The child actors that steal our hearts by how brilliant, innocent, sweet, darling they are. The whole book series is magical in its own right. How wonderful,to be able to write a story that could touch the hearts, minds, and imaginations of all people, no matter how young or old. Love it!

I actually found my favorite music in the series was when Harry took Snapes tears to the pensive... The whimsical flute of Snape and Lily's childhood memories - that sequence was so beautiful, and totally portrayed Snape in light, where he was most often surrounded by dark.
LOVE hp world, but they still need a bit more because only two rides are not enough. OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME TO SEE THE ACTORS GO BACK IN THEIR COSTUMES!! Helen is so amazing! + i am so impressed with the train!

If I had to hear Meredith Vieira call Gringotts “Green-gits” one more time I was going to throw my phone.
I can't lie, I'm disappointed that Alan Rickman will never be part of an interactive ride film the way they did it on Escape From Gringotts. They could've done something awesome by having riders travel "through the Pensieve" with Harry and they could've expanded Snape's memories, when he was younger, and while Harry was attending Hogwarts. It would've been fantastic. Oh well. Hopefully someday Snape's character will be explored in even further depth, through rides, films, or even a TV show. Favourite character (and actor) by far. RIP Alan ♡

It's absolutely beautiful there. I went on Gringott's three times in one day. It's absolutely great. I'm not a fan of the books/read them yet, but it's great to experience it
