Not gonna lie, Anecdote's line about Nocan using Rhetoric as a measuring stick got slept on hard!

Nocan was so good mixing his writtens and frees. I really miss him. His stuff still holds up better than most from back then.

That was one of the better battles I have seen. The way they flipped the lines on each other was great. Plus there was a lot of off-top freestyling.
Nocan's lyricism is awesome. His Kid Twist pants line had Stareater hyped like crazy jumpin up and down lol.
That battle was extremely close. Both brought it strong, and had hilarious freestyles to boot. I wouldn't have been disappointed or calling bullshit if it went Anecdote's way. That guy's a beast.

Glad to see Anecdote in Grind Time. I haven't seen him battle since the WRC 2007. I have always liked him. Having said that, Nocan won the battle, but Anecdote kept it competitive.
Finally, some real MC's. couldn't tell writtens from freestyle. The rebuttals were crazy
Grindtime needs more battles like this... a good balance of writtens and freestyle. I kind of like the WRC days for that reason more than recent Grindtime battles.

Both came nice, but Nocando clearly took this. Some of Anecdote's lines just didn't really hit hard, but I liked the flips by both. Great battle!

I love the variety of battlerappers that you see 2 whole different MC's go at eachother at a highly accepted level. I love the way Anecdote just freestyled that fishing line~line. Hard battle, would have given it to NoCanDo for having more punches towards Anecdote.

anecdote had some sick rhymes, they dont hit as hard cuz of his accent, but it forces him into multis that dont sound robotic.
"shout out to my dude ray" is the funniest thing i've heard on any grindtime and it wasn't even a bar.

Great battle. Nocando in 3 for this one, but Anecdote brought some heat. Gotta give him credit for going off the head in round 2. Nocando did the same in round 3. Lush is funny as hell. "On my right, he flew in all the way from Australia and boy are his arms tired....".
