    Thanks for the info, but I say Timken bearings all the way, everyday. There a superior bearing regardless of rpm your running and easy on the pocket book.

      I’m sure you’ve heard everything about the Timken vs INA bearing argument. I’m leaning Timken, they’ve been doing it for 50+ years and when they started using INA bearings, the cranks were starting to have very bad run out, bearings were failing, so on and so forth. I’m doing a Timken conversion on my originally 88 (now a 100ci with a dark horse crank) and I’ll let you know how it goes brotha. Hopefully all goes well.

      My 88 crank had crank runout of 45’ thou. If it had the timken in there, I doubt it would’ve gotten that high, considering the Timken is proven to support your crankshaft from axial movement, meaning as the crankshaft goes down, a lot of pressure is put on the bottom of the cage of the INA bearings, which is real real bad and can get you in a lot of trouble. Timkens are (I’ve heard) to be the solution to everything.
