To all of us who knew Bob, who loved him and now who mourn him, there is a say: " he died doing what he loves!" Bob spend a lot of time on the street with James (working), meeting people, and nature surrounding him...freedom...cats have that free spirit combined with their love for their human. When I watched the video of James playing guitar on the porch of his house and Bob looking through the fence in the yard ... I saw a look in Bob's eyes wanting to go outthere, freely going around to smell and see what he could find; doing what a cat does. My thought is: he died doing just that. Bob was at a good old age, he didn't suffer; seeing a cat (or any animals) is an excruciating pain) He came from the street, a long time ago, spend lots and time with james on the street "working.. , what a good sense of freedom, better than money can buy... The outdoor was a natural place to be for him. My consolation is that Bob lived an exceptional good life bringing the best in James' life, and I have to say that Bob also enriched my life and I am sure the life of many people. A very special cat, like I never saw before. I will never forget him, loved that little one. I had cats for most of my adult life, loved them to death. Now in my 70's, I live with my little Lina and because of Bob, I am doing more with her than before. She is a house cat but now there is long walk and time in the park which she enjoys so much. Thank you Bob to have come in my life even at a long distance. You did a tremendous good work while you were on this earth. R.I.P. my dear sweet little angel. I believe in God' intervention. We will see him again. For nowhere, Bob lives in our heart. Courage James, Bob wants you to have a good life.

Bob reminds my of my cat James, a ginger and white cat who adopted me in 2015 after recovering from a car accident, he is my best friend and in some ways I feel he came into my life for a reason, after struggling for years with health issues, I guess he has saved me also and given me purpose, like Bob has for James Bowen. I have shed many tears for Bob, and I pray James will be ok, I hope and pray 🙏 another stray cat 🐈will come into his life soon to be his friend and companion. There are many stray cats and abandoned cats who need a loving home in this world. Cats make the best loyal companions. 😿😿😿💚💕💜

Sad, so sad... he was an angel, some being full of light. A great example of how cats are special, better than human beings. He chooses James to take care and give love. And now he's gone the worst way... too sad, I'm in tears. But deeply inside i wonder if he has not chosen to get out to die, like many cats do? Cause when they know they're gonna die, they choose to hide away from their humans... it's a fact.

Thinking about all those 14 years living at the streets and at home with his tutor and never, never passed for any kind of accident! So I thought about the possibility of kidney disease could get harder and make him hide away from home and then get hit by that car. What I think is strange in all of it is how in all those years it never happened. For me, it was a signal that he should be very ill.

He died instantly, sustaining a hematoma from a blunt force head injury. That happened to my cat as well. The person who was driving may not have known as from that kind of injury, he probably ran into the car from the side.
@@bluebirds4me When pussycats have kidney disease, & it gets to the end, it's really, really horrible. My pussycat went through it, & she was 24. It's a good thing that James didn't have to see Bob go through that. It's VERY UNPLEASANT.
