- So this past weekend, I finally got to meet my best friend ever. Her name is Maddi and we've been best friends for 2 years. She surprised me at my house and I've never been so happy before. We live 841 miles away from each other, and we don't know the next time that we'll see each other is. But it will happen soon. So, I miss you Mads. I love you.

It's not scary if you've talked on the phone and webcammed and seen their face and their family and know they're real people and who they say they are. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

This sorta happen to me... When I was 4-5 I met the best person on the planet. When we first saw each other, we were instantly friends. I only knew her for a little over a year, but it felt like forever. Then we went to kindergarten. At different schools. I was heart broken. My first friend, gone. Taken from me. But I never forgot her. Then, last year, the first day of 4th grade, I walked in the classroom. 'Normal year, remember your first friend. Make more friends like that.' when I sat down, and looked up, there she was. After 6 years of not seeing, or hearing from her. She was there. Right in front of me. For a moment I thought she didn't remember. She did though. We hugged, and hugged, and hugged, and hugged. I was so happy. We were seated next to each other in class. My teacher was happy for us. And finally, after 6 years I had my best friend back. Were still tell each other stores of what happen over those 6 years. I will never forget her, or the promise we made as 4 year-olds.

I live in the UK. My internet best friend lives in US. She in Santa Cruz, California and I in Ramsbottom. We are 5216 miles apart but she wants to see me soon! I can't wait for that day.
