The first few lines of this song are sooo true for me right now. We are Missionaries, and we have only been on the field for 4 months... "life as you know it, looks nothing like the kind of life you knew before" 0:10 . It is hard to leave your home for your entire life, and move to another country. "And it don't feel safe to even step outside your door" 0:23 is also soo true because we life in a dangerous country, and it's literally dangerous to step outside the gate.
This song has helped me through this transition! I thank you Matthew for this song! I also thank God for this fun challenge in my life!!
We have had 2 days of utter chaos and meaningless destruction in our City. But this song reminded me that God is Almighty... thank you, I needed to hear this today 🙏

I found this song yesterday sister, and I’ve had this on repeat since. I close my eyes and think of God saying these words to me and it resonates in my heat in the tough season I find myself in.

I am sure God blessed me with your song this morning, my father passed away from Covid last night . I felt helpless and so alone😢 my daughter forwarded this song to me, we changed one song choice for his funeral to this, it calmed my spirit I thank you for that blessing ! This song is as if God was speaking to me personally. It's been such a rough season in my life, but last Sunday my husband had a heart attack (along with many other health issues he has) They had him on a ventilator and his blood pressure wasn't staying up, he wasn't able to get off the ventilator for 5 days. They tried every day but he would just struggle to breathe. He was in the ICU and they wont allow me to see him, even now, due to this Covid 19 virus. It's been so hard not knowing if I would loose him ,and that he is all alone. He is finally off the ventilator and his blood pressure is doing better, but he is still having some struggles and he has a long recovery to go through yet. We have been married almost 35 years now and he needs me to be there with him through this, and I myself need to be there with him. God put my heart in a better place when I heard this song. Thank you so much Matthew West. God bless.
