Hi Everyone - In today's video I wanted to share how and what I eat in a day. I follow an 8 hours intermittent fasting period. I eat within an 8 hour window and fast for the remaining 16 hours. I started doing this about a year ago and it has worked to maintain my weight.
My husband Phil will be our special guest for today.
Here are the recipes for the meals in this video:
Breakfast Sandwich:
Sourdough Slide
Fried Egg
Sliced Cheese
PC Cooked Bacon
Salmon and Curry Chickpea Bowl
Quinoa - Follow package cooking instructions.
Salmon
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
Curried Chickpeas
1 can Chickpeas
100g Potatoes
1 can Crushed Tomatoes
1 can Coconut Milk
1 diced medium onion
3 cloves of garlic
Thumb sized ginger (about 1 1/2 tsp)
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt & Pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions:
For Salmon:
Baked Salmon at 400F for 30-40 min.
For Curried Chickpeas:
1 tbsp Grapeseed Oil
Fry onion until translucent
Add garlic and ginger (fry for 30 seconds)
Add Spices (Garam Masala, Cumin, Paprika, and Turmeric) (Fry for 30 seconds)
Add Chopped Tomatoes and Coconut Milk (bring to a low boil)
Add Chickpeas and Potatoes
Cover and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced by a fork
Add Parsley and Lime Juice
Salt to taste

Hey girl, I should get in the habit of drinking water when I wake up! I really wanna get that gallon water bottle since I’m not the best at drinking water (if I’m not working out that day) that would also be great to bring to the gym too! I try and drink a gallon of water everyday! It’s hard some days because I forget haha but it does feel so much better when I’m hydrated. Omg your hubby is a chef haha I do all the cooking in the house a love hate relationship🙈I love chickpeas. This dish looked amazing it’s totally something I would love! In Trinidad we use a lot of chick peas in our meals. This looked amazing 😍
