    Hi Pete, thanks for the video. I actually watched it to get a little bit more info on the 25 tooth servo saver cause I had smashed the 23 on my big rock that I had put a kraton 6s servo on and it was in fact going out of center off and on and your video made me realize that I tightened down the SS to hard. That was really bothering me that I couldn't figure out why it was doing that and I was about to just buy a new 25t SS. So thanks a bunch 🤟

    Just did mine and worked out well , thanks again Pete . I found the tucking of the wires back in tougher than the servo re & re lol . One note , I got a 25 kg servo off Amazon and looked identical to the stock one BUT one thing . Hi Pete, hope your keeping well. Great servo tips there for the Arrma’s I’ll remember this little video. Well, we went out with our Arrma’s last weekend and yep we both broke the front suspension lower arms, got some replacements coming so that we can soon get back out there. The 2s packs performed well and definitely give you more punch, run time and no fading over time. They balance charged well for storage to either exactly 3.7v per cell or within 0.01v, so very pleased. I’ll give them 5 cycles each, before trying them at the higher 4.35v per cell charge. Keep well all the best 😉👌

      Hiya John. I'm surprised that you broke the suspension arms on your cars. I did break 2 on my Big Rock but I was using the ramp and doing some pretty big jumps. I wonder if the long arms are less strong because the Granite has been beaten to death and I've not broken any arms. Anyway hope you are back in action soon. Glad that the lipos are performing well. I like it how it says "for grown-ups"
    I'm 43, I hope that's old enough.
    I'm not having the best time mounting my new Zoskay (DSServo) 35kg servo in my Granite BLX. This upside-down mounting and jamming a little screwdriver thru a tiny body hole to attach the horn to the linkage-doohickey part. I fiddled until that happened, but my servo is maybe 2cm too long. The screw holes on one side line up, and I can jam the screws in the other side halfway, but the steering is so off, and doesn't center.
    I appreciate the video, any help I can get is great.
    I may have to bust out my Dremel and do naughty things to the Zoskay servo casing tomorrow. I bought two, in case I butcher the first one.

      Not sure but I think you will break the gears in the servo depending on how strong it is. Not something I've tried to be honest.

    Hey pete, I've done this mod and for some reason my rig won't steer straight,it tends to go right a bit or left within a few feet every so often. I changed the servo saver to a 25t servo saver and it still tends to do this...any idea what it could be? Thx in advance for any info if you have any.

    • @PeteWylieRC
      @PeteWylieRC  Před rokem +1

      Hi there. Did you do the check of the servo saver function while the servo was out of the car? With the power on and the servo centralised you should be able to force the servo saver in one direction or the other and it springs back to the centre. Other than that is the servo working properly? Can't think of anything else. Thanks for watching the video.
