Lol i'm an the earlier reaction, I keep getting 1v1's with someone who isn't in a guild and after a second or so several different guilds show up like it was staged.
The reason I watched this video is I got ganked like five times this session working on my specializations in a red zone. In all fairness I made quite a few mistakes. Watching this video helped me understand the ganking mindset and as a result, what I need to do to be a spicy blueberry.
This video is super underrated, this is the best solo ganking guide I’ve ever seen
one thing to add : as an archling , most of the time when we're in 1100 ip+ plus and we see shitters come through a roads portal while we're doing roads , or ganking , we usually don't dismount to fight them , the logic being that they're either really good or really bad. If they're good , there's no point fighting them as their loot will be dog and someone will prolly die before you kill him. If they're bad , there's just no point.

you rock! I'm in my 50's having fun in an RPG for the first time. I literally knew nothing 3 weeks ago. It will probably take close to a year to get used to the key combinations. But I have to enter Red Zones to participate in tracking. Your videos are immensely helpful.
Those occult staff claps are wicked. Would love to see more highlights of those in open world pvp.

3:50 i use 4.1 sometimes to get people to dismount because i have 800 spec in armor and 700 spec in weapons for most of the stuff i use
they dont expect the damage output normally 6.1 t7 weapons though but t4 gear

I really want to try PVP but never have. Before starting Albion a month ago the only other game (besides my days at the Arcade as a kid in the 80’s playing Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Tempest, DigDug, etc) was WoW about 7 years ago and I only played it for a couple of years, never PVP. So obviously I’m older. I have been in PVP fights when somebody attacked me but I was kind of confused on what was going on because I don’t know all the spells different gear has and I don’t know the symbols under the name tag. I guess it might just take time, or maybe I’m too old. I don’t really want to gank per se, but I want to be able to defend myself gathering. Ego makes it hard for me to run sometimes and I want to bitchslap the person attacking me. Great guide BTW.

11:50 agreed, they ganked me with 5 ppl and I managed to kill 2 of them with cursed staff after that the 2 of them ran away and 1 of them keep chasing me until the yellow zone

u forgot the grp of solo players who search 1vX pvp. With high mobility weapons sutch as (bloodletter,b-paws or carving sword) sustain with merc or hellion jackets and escape with demon undead that will just go for every fight they can find ;)
(fighting them is not reccomendet at all)

Cool content bro, i enjoy your videos a lot and i have leraned a lot from them too, but i have to say this.... You say blueberry gank groups are the worst. Group ganking is a thing, and killing Gankers is also part of the game, i have been killed by group gankers while farming and and i just have to deal with it. "if you dont like gankers, dot go alone in red/black zone zone" (thats what people say)... so id like to say the same thing... if you dont like blueberry gank groups, do not go to red/black zone then... its part of the game. Respect all players. i gank sometimes, i got ganked a lot too.... and i love killin noob gankers also. Enjoy every aspect of the game.
There's also people who don't care if ppl are red flagged unless they are dismounted trying to gank. Also fun to red flag beside someone being chased by blues sometimes they leave even if outnumber it's funny
How'd you get such a wide camera view?
You didn't use bloodletter carving sword or cursed? Cause these weapons are already covered a lot on youtube or because spear and bow you find them to be better?
bloodletter is really good, haven't tried carving but it seems like it would be good, curse lacks mobility for this type of content
@@BigLipsMcGee Equart does some great 1vX fights with carving check him out if you haven't already. And Rusty has some great content in redtree with cursed, he uses soldier boots for the mobility.

I didn't realize the shield would prevent your mounting up from being interrupted.
I wish that will be patched this is probably not even supposed to do that
u can be interrupted but u can remount if your ennemies hit you without interrupt spell

Yes specialization can play a big part in how strong someone is.

Seriously speaking tho - thanks for video. Running duo with a friend, but rarely flag for PK, baiting reds, or fighting them outnumbered instead. Now gonna try pure gank gameplay, any advices specific for duos (Dual swords and Great Curse)? Also, turns out i was using exact same build for swords, but i'm not sure what helmet to pick - never liked guardian helmet, and it's got nerfed anyway. Tried Fiends cowl, but since it's almost always 2v3 or 2v4 it doesnt help much, so i switched to hunters hood, and still not happy with it.

How much IP is required to do this... With 4.1 gear
No requirements but the higher the better. Under 900 IP on your weapon will likely be difficult.

TL;DR Be high specced, run in a lower tier gear, kill noobs. Anyone looking at this vid need to know that you won't be able to to replicate you unless they spent dozens of hours leveling equip to 100.
