Never had a problem with San Martin, I can only speak about mine but they are all fine no issues.

They look great but most are uncomfortable on wrist.
@@BR81-iv6lt I have ten and all are comfortable but then again I cannot say I have ever owned an uncomfortable Watch, maybe some leather straps a bit stiff till broken in.
@@BR81-iv6lt I have to disagree, I currently own 5 of their watches and have owned at least 8 or 9 in total. None of them have been uncomfortable to me at all. To the contrary even, they have been some of the most pleasant watches to wear.
Had a QC miss on mine and the resolution was meh.

It's amazing how thin SM are getting their watches. I have the SN0116 with the NH34 GMT and it's only 12.4mm with the crystal! Remarkable - thinner than the new BB58 GMT. I purchased it largely because of your recent SM reviews, and thankfully mine has no QC issues.
I absolutely love that SN0128 BB, I don't care that it's a homage, as you say, it looks like a luxury watch and it's San Martin quality, at less than a 10th of the price of a Tudor I'll take the SM all day long 👌🏻

On the thickness , my 3 Glycine watches with 2824 and Selita200 movements are all exactly 10mm thick , so yes San Martin have done well here using the NH35/34 movements .

Have you worked out yet that the “flexible” bits on the mesh bracelet are removable links?
Don't know if this is mentioned by anyone else in the comments but the link provided for the mesh bracelet is for a "Curved" endlink bracelet NOT the one displayed in this video. No straight endlink version can be found on that page.
Currently I do not own any San Martin watches however I find these quite interesting ! Great video

If only the made the SN0116 with this 24-hour inner bezel instead of a minute track. Makes it easier to track two extra timezones :)
They need to BB54 that BB58 homage. It's easier to accept homages that make a few clear and obvious changes to differentiate itself from the original. I think that dial really is nice and does that well.
San Martin obviously puts together a solid watch. I've yet to see an original design from them that really stands out though. They have been improving but still the biggest compliment I can give their original watches is their inoffensive if a little boring.
Honestly even being marketably thinner then the original is more then enough for me.
The second watch looks very similar to the maen hudson 38 heritage
I really like them both. San Martin makes incredible watches. I like homage watches so I have no problem with them.
he should do some homages on Sinn 556, Sinn U50, Grande Seiko and King Seiko Lavender and some hand wound watches
A beautiful watch is a beautiful watch. Some people care too much about what others say that they cannot admit that they actually would wear the watch.
Nice review. I agree with you on the first watch. For me it's way too colorful. The second watch just doesn't create any emotion in me, it's just another iteration of many others that look just like.

What baffles me is how they don’t make 19mm straps. There aren’t many options in that size available in the EU, and they make some watches with 19mm lugs that absolutely deserve a rubber strap.

Must be nice 4/5 watches San Martin sent me have bezels off. They are giving me the run around and will not make good on the watches. But they send youtubers free watches every other day. You have got like 5 free watches while I struggle to get mine replaced. Disgusting if you get another free San Martin before they take care of me I will unsub and only watch the main channel. I mean I would do the same if I could get idiots to send me watches for free. They have really bad customers service and reviewing these watches someone who likes you is gonna get fucked like me

@@hugohugo37 go look at some of the comments on ali express about bezels being off. They check them before they send them out to youtubers. But the paying customers get random watches out of lots not hand picked watches for review. These guys only care about the free watches the accumulate not the viewers who watch the channel
