Gage's / Trak's Theme - Proud Soldier/Ice Warrior (Extended) - Advance Wars Days of Ruin

  • Took me long enough to extend this..Wasn't even that hard..
Anyways, Gage's theme is pretty nice, it has a different feel to it. It feels...desert-y. The fact that it isn't a rockin' theme also is a plus. I like rock and stuff, but they overdid it for this game.
This difference in theme from everyone else's shows that Gage is quite different from everyone else. He mainly thinks of his duty as a soldier. Hmm...I wish there was more character development from him; still, he never talked much. So, I guess it's alright.
Image/Music not made by me, only extended as usual~

You know, the one thing I never understood with Gage was why he never talked all that much. He seemed like he was just constantly depressed wherever he went, I never even saw the man smile. However, he was a very good shot (with a sniper, give him a pistol and he suddenly becomes unable to hit a wartank) and he was very great in battle.

In ancient Roman times, they were most common in the Mediterranean and North African regions, though some variants have been found as far east as India.
Bagpipes are permanently associated with the Scots thanks to the Highland Regiments of the British Empire, which took them around the world while bagpipes fell out of favor with other ethnic groups, and thus made them instantly recognizable as a "Scottish" musical instrument. The real question is why the f*** is the FE Ost so f****** bland when the Wars Games has this kind of great soundtrack.... I dont get it

When you're making a theme for a character, you can tap into any genre of music if it fits them. You can't really do that with FE music, it has to be more consistent.

@@kiwikarp9509 This is true... But this doesnt mean FE should have consistent generic/lame fantasy music. Why not go into neat war chanting, great orchestra with atleast different speeds, to wake up in Battle. Maybe they did it after the Gamecube FE (only played these and GBA)... But I think consistent is not equal lame.

Have you even listened to the FE6 soundtrack? Granted, they play that shitty generic 'first battle' theme for half the game, but tracks like For the Commanders, Within the Magnificent Nature, and so many others make up for it. I honestly don't remember FE7's music but FE8 had a decent soundtrack and the Tellius games also had some of the best in the series. (I miss old Fire Emblem, sad what the series has become)

@@zlorf_youtube Wtf are you sperging about? Fe4 had battle themes for the different armies you faced against and each player phase theme was different depending on the chapter. You also hear great soundtracks in the GBA era games as well
