Great work guys, thanks for the great editing and an intrest in traditional craftsmanship. Quality tools for the right job in the hands of a craftsman makes for a quality job.

Thanks Wade. We'd love to revisit Ernest Wright. Sadly Nick, featured in our video passed away a few years ago but a group have rallied together to keep the company going. We love showcasing artisans and craftspeople especially on the back of the pandemic

I was trimming my nose hairs with a pair of their scissors whilst watching this video. They are truly excellent. Their scissors - not my nose hairs.

Hey look Steve, we're not going to comment on the quality of anyone's nose hairs! But we can vouch for the scissors! We each took a pair home and still use them nearly 8 years later!

Ernest Wright are really great, but how abut Whiteley? Aren't those in the same level? I'm trying to find a general use pair of scissors, and I want the best performance out there. Your opinion would be really appriciated sir, thanks in advance

@@greekveteran2715 I have both, they are both top notch , however pardon the pun I believe Ernest Wright’s have the edge ... why , well more time is spent on them the finish is super fine polished to a mirror shine , and as I have both kitchen shears from both companies I tested them , Ernest pair seem to be smoother and cut with slightly less pressure the weight of one finger will close them and cut what ever is in the blade.
My latest acquisition are William Whitley’s Composite shears 10 inch of industrial might !
Designed to cut Kevlar , Carbon fibre , Aramid they are Teflon coated too it’s nice to own a pair that will cut anything and everything , plus you can say they are the oldest in the western world. c 1760

RIP Nick. Trully sad to hear of that news. Trully are the best scissors.

We have only just learned of his passing ourselves! So sad to hear. In the short time we knew him, he was just the loveliest man with such a passion for his family's business and extremely supportive of inspiring young people to pick up crafting skills. We each got a pair of scissors from the day we filmed with Nick and I still use them all the time to this day.

I have a pair of their scissors. I love them.

Thank you for the nice video. Good editing. Can you do a latest video on Ernest Wright, they have gone through lot of changes since 2014, I believe that's when this video was made. Thank you.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Nick Wright. Even after our video, he was really supportive of what Little Less Known was doing. We'd love to revisit Ernest Wright and Sons one day soon and chat to the team! It's so important to keep crafts like these alive.
