This was put to use today at our shop replacing a front housing in an 04 tj. It worked after only two tries! Haha. Thanks for posting!

I know this is an old video, but it appears there is a wiring harness attached to the carrier? How is it connected inside?

This is exactly what I am looking for. I have a question. I just want to reinstall the "Plunger" part. Everything is in the diff. I installed that pulnger. went wheeling and the signal on the dash wouldn't stop flashing and my locker was stuck on. Can you tell me, How do I install that plunger part into the diff properly?

Isn't it easier to just remove the plunger and reinstall it after all the parts are out in?

We just tried to replace the sensor without removing the carrier, and there is no way to push it out while installing through hole. The edge of the sensor rides on the other side of the actuator plate. It will be on the wrong side, and when activated will not be pushed to the passengers side via vacuum, hence it will be locked but the light will blink.
