Please check the portal up to 2kw subsidy is 30k and every additional capacity up to 3kW is 18000. Most of the house holds in middle class are leads than 2000 rupees as EB bill which can be 2kw

Do not mislead people. In PM-Surya Ghar Scheme, for eligibility, there is No Income limit, Govt. employees can also apply. The earlier Rooftop Solar subsidy scheme is merged with the latest PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

Yuvarani, I see 2 incorrect things in this video.
1. I don’t think Govt gives any money back to us. The No of units that is not consumed is accumulated and adjusted at the end of financial year.
2. In your example for subsidy, for 3kv you mentioned as 54k which is not 40% as you mentioned in the beginning. You mentioned that the cost of 3kv is around 2.1lacs and 40% of 2.1 lacs is not 54k. Actually the way it works is : cost of 3kv Panel approved by govt is 1.95 lacs and hence you will get an amount of Rs.78k as subsidy and that too after 2 months.

It would be better if you correct the video with the correct subsidy so that people will know the real subsidy. secondly eb / govt wont give you the money for the exported units they only will adjust with your bill. Well, the state government (TANGED) is taking close to 50% towards meter replacement, taxes snd other charges. I applied for solar install and EB had sent me a demand notice to pay about ₹15,000. This is not explained initially. So, this takes away the entire purpose.
