what’s the meaning behind it??
@@reveluv4life It has to do with the Ferry Tragedy (I forgot the name of the place where it happened… or more likely I’m going to reallllly mess up the spelling) where so many students died. They were told to stay calm while red lights were on, help was on the way, but… most of them drowned following what was told & few of them tried to abandon ship & swim or at least try to survive. I’m sure I’m not summarizing or giving it enough detail. That’s a very rough idea.
f(x) had a short career, as in very few comebacks, but everything was always so original that impacted the whole industry. They were originally 5 members, Sulli left in 2015. Unfortunatelly she passed away in 2019
SM treated f(x) like a red headed step child.

F(x)’s strong point was i believe their experimental music. They were, I believe, the first girl group to mix electronic/EDM aspects into their music, Electric Shock being their most famous song. They’ve done so many different genres and styles throughout the years and were able to pull off everything. They were also known as the sister group of Shinee and the members of both groups were very close to each other :) No red light on f(x) week ❤❤

they have dance practce but rarely in group. but the solos of some members( amber,luna; victoria) have dance practice.also victoria partcipated in a chinese dance show called hot blood dance crew with jackson wang , former exo luhan, and forer miss a meng jia.

Thank you so much for this. F(x) really is changing the pace of kpop visually and musically, for me f(x) responsible the most for todays kpop styles. Tho they're the kind of group who only comeback once a year, they always pushing new things, even compared to their sibling group, shinee. I remember when SNSD released I Got a Boy, so many knetiz complain bcs it sounds like something f(x) would have, but ofc snsd also killing the game so nobody will complain about it again. Its just shows that f(x) always known for being experimental, thats why its sad that new kpop fans dont know about them when today literally every new kpop releases reminds me of f(x)
Their last three album change how kpop sells music, bcs back then idols only sell single or ep. Its like they really push kpop to make better music. That's why f(x) reactions are not complete if you dont react to their full albums. Their last three albums are like the holy triny kpop album, and thats probably the very first time kpop have edgy aesthetics. Please react to their albums too

"4 Walls" is a stand alone story. The disaster unfolds in steps, in the desaturated real world, square aspect: 1. Cups falls out of sleepy hand and breaks 2. Because the cup is missing, water is poured on floor 3. Slip on wet floor, get knocked out. After being knocked out, all four of them are in the dream world (saturated colors, widescreen aspect), where these steps are shown, frozen in time. Now forewarned, cue Matrix "Operator, I need an exit" moment, dashing out of the bath to catch the cup so the disaster doesn't happen. Call it more of a premonition than actual time travel.

F(x) son unicas en su clase sin dudas!!! originalmente estaba pensado como un grupo "gemelo" de Shinee, siempre experimental y diferente ... Red Light en su momento fue TAN experimental, la gente no estaba acostumbrada a las transiciones (que ahora son muy comunes en el kpop) UNA JOYA DE GRUPO !
Trivia for Rum Pum Pum Pum: The song's name is because the drumbeat comes from the song The Little Drummer Boy. Hence their matching outfit pieces when doing this song were typically that Christmas plaid or red.

haha only a newer kpop fan would think a fashiony dance box video is more recent than the more experimental ones. kpop transitioned from entertaining dance pop in a box to artsy experimental pop over the course of 2nd and 3rd gen. nowadays, i suppose it's back to being more dance-in-a-box as it's more tik tok / social media friendly.
Red Light is easily my least favorite of these four, but it's still such a cool song, especially once you get used to it. It's... it'll never stop being *intense*, though (just don't listen to it when you're super drunk or high unless you wanna feel like the universe might shatter and release you into the void).
