If I had to ride Magnum XL-200 as a punishment, then I'd probably be the single most mischievous, rowdy, and rebellious kid in America, lol. I love that ride.

You have to add in there that while they are being forced to ride XL200, everyone else gets to go ride Steel Vengeance, and Millennium Force. That would be a proper punishment.

@@canyon50 Honestly unless the park is dead, I'd rather lap Magnum than wait 1-2 hours for Mille, Maverick, and Steve. I would be disappointed to not ride the other Arrows and the B&Ms tho.
The no loops one is golden. My friend's response to airtime is "I don't want to feel my stomach in my mouth, I want to go upside down"
I sort of agree with him. Everyone has their own preferences tho

Or Imagine I -305 with two 200 ft Verticle loops, and a giant zero g roll or inline roll or something at the end of it lol... That would be spectacular... if you could live through it lol.

As someone who works at USH, we’re always told to never assume someone is pregnant, just refer them to the warnings and restrictions. If they state they are pregnant, then we are allowed to tell them they can’t ride. That comment was the example why we don’t assume lol

There's a REEEEEEALLY good 1 star GP review for Leap the Dips at Lakemont Park claiming that the ride is dangerous because she "flew up" every time she went through a dip.

I’m really into national park travel as well as theme parks and the bad reviews of those are so funny. A review of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park once read “Paid $20 to get in, didn’t even get to touch lava.”
Hello There.
4:25 trust me as a theme park employee some employees love to mess around for fun. One time at the end of the night up at the Flying Ace Aerial Chase station at Kings Island where we did "powow" at the end of the night, one of my coworkers decided to sit in the seat and pull down the restraint while the ride was keyed off and locked out by maintenance and the restraints lock automatically so we had to get maintenance to come and start up the ride so this kid could get out of his seat. A couple other coworkers thought it was so amusing so some of us including me basically took pictures next to him trapped in the seat with the tablet at the ride. When the area supervisor came he told us to go home. Idk what happened to the kid, but he was definitely in trouble. I even heard a story of an employee at Mystic Timbers who thought it would be funny to drop a coin on the track and it messed up the ride and he got terminated for it.
It's so sad that those people got hired
Fun Fact: Its almost ALWAYS a steal to stay at Mt. Olympus, I swear they are never not running a deal. I can also confirm the sticker headboards 😂

2:30 To be fair, I've always been absolutely befuddled why people wear sandals to a theme park. Just ludicrous. But yeah, no way someone didn't find parking for 5 hours. ANYWHERE. Because I mean, you would eventually find at least one person leaving that you would wait to take their spot. I mean, unless he's an idiot haha.
I think if you're park has water rides, i get wearing sandals.
I carry a second pair of shoes and a change of clothes in my backpack along with deodorant, cologne, snacks and my light sabre.
True story: I was able to ride Lightning Rod on my first-ever visit to Dollywood (clout, I know), and in the souvenir on-ride photograph, a kid and his father were seated behind us. Not only did the kid behind us pass out during this point in the ride, but afterward could be heard asking his father if they could buy the photo (to which he replied, “no”).
A side note: imagine if they built a mirror image of GASM in Oregon. Now, imagine the full abbreviation for this particular version. You’re welcome.
0:35 I like the thinking of that parent because grounding is basically jail time at home and it is unreasonable to confine someone inside for a while so the best punishment is to force them on a roller coaster because that is what I would do

This is why I played the “Yelper Special” from South Park in line for Steel Vengeance when it was shut down temporarily when putting another train on the ride. Suffice it to say many were leaving and grumbling for only a 10 minute extra wait.

This is great! I'd love to hear some bad reviews about SF Discovery Kingdom if you find any! It's my home park so I'm bias and love it, but everyone I talk to hates that park and it's rides. Looking forward to part 2 and hearing more of the negative reviews from all the parks you found! Great video :)
I was at six flags magic mountain and waited 2 hours for X2 because of it was running only one train. And I still didn’t write a bad review on Yelp. It actually was a night ride on row 7 (back row) totally worth the wait imo.
Just with it had 2 trains instead.
It's funny that some people give some roller coasters the negative views even thought they are kinda bad. But anyway, I'm looking forward for a part 2!

This was very entertaining! For kicks I sometimes enjoy reading 1-star reviews of toilets on Home Depot (trust me on this) 😂 So , yes, more of this please!
The lantern flies are so annoying omg. I was riding lighting racer one day and I literally had one smack me in the eye 😭 they also swarmed the Fahrenheit left which was weird it ess like a cloud of bugs 😭😭😭😭
Just like to say, love the shirt. Knoebels is one of my favorite parks. Alot of bigger parks should take note of what they do.

The funniest 1 star reviews I’ve seen are for X2 and Twisted Colossus, Tatsu and Apocalypse. I will directly quote them cuz they are absolutely hilarious.
X2: “I think the roller coaster broke because the seats started to spin and that really isn’t safe. In my mind this was the best sinning coaster at the park cuz I really like green lantern.”
“It’s to fast a kid threw up and a kid caught on fire.
Twisted Colossus: “The ride was too bump and had too many hills.”
Tatsu: “OMG no way I would let my kids on this ride!!! You are hanging upside down for 1000 of the ride super unsafe my mom was next to me and she puked everywhere. unsafe not fun”
Apocalypse: “The boredom sure as hell is apocalyptic”

Great American Scream Machine as “GASM” is hilarious.
Because it is in general because of how it was unbearably rough prior to its retracking

Mount Olympus hotels are the best lok hi! That headboard and the spring loaded horrible mattresses were the best part of the hotel. The dark hallways and questionable guests staying there worried us more. What a janky place. Keep these videos coming this was great!

For Vekoma SLC’s I would give them one star because the head banging on them is atrocious I was knocked around like a rag doll the entire ride and at the end I knew I was never going on one again
Not all SLC's....Riddler's Revenge at SFNE is bad....but not cuz of headbanging. It has vest restraints.

Cedar point is my home park and in the 22 years that I have been alive, I have never seen every single parking spot filled up. Even the day back in 2019 when they hit capacity.
The spotted lanternfly thing is a problem at Pennsylvanian parks. I was at Kennywood and got a lanternfly inside of my shirt while waiting for Steel Curtain, and I had to take said shirt off to get it out.

Awesome video I love this idea! Also GASM is completely accurate. I have a high tolerance for rough rides for example I legitimately non-ironically enjoy Magnum XL 200 I tend to enjoy rough wooden coasters. GASM Was one of the worst rides I have ever been on. I actually wondered if I hurt myself after words and it was so Rattalee that my keys fell out of my pocket. This is the first time I’ve ever lost something out of my pocket on a ride! That thing absolutely needs to be RMC’d
That would be awesome. Unfortunately, they probably won’t. Also, GASM just got a plaque from ACE as a coaster lsndmark. So it’s probably not going anywhere anytime soon. The reason it’s so rough is because it uses the old GA Cyclone trains. It ran much smoother with it’s original trains.
The long line review was funny, My dad didn’t want to go on volcano blast coaster because the line was too long, and even though kings dominion is my home park, I never got to ride it cause of that

Lolol omg So I'm a CT native, and I grew up riding the Wildcat, I re-rode it this year and it was, no lie, empty train but me and I rode the back because I wanted to test a trick, I leaned forward and kinda tried to not touch the sides. It was a fun game and I didn't get hurt on it for once and the staff told me I was brave for picking that seat. I responded with, I know 😂😂😂
If I had to write a Yelp review about a ride it would be The Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis. After riding it my neck was sore for like 2 hours and I had a killer headache, when my mom and I go to Six Flags we avoid that ride like the plague.
Yelp reviews are all just people being the biggest karens. I in particular liked reading the ones of Six Flags America and Darien Lake.

LMAO 6:00 that's literally nothing! back in 2005 when Kingda Ka first opened I waited for over 6 hours in line through two separate break downs, but got to ride front row which was my first time riding the coaster front row, it ended up being the only ride I rode that day and I regret absolutely nothing!! :)

When i was at Hershey, there were lanternflies everywhere, the drop towers were actually closed due to there being like 10,000 of them on the ride platform

The lantern-fly problem at HersheyPark is out of their control, but is a serious problem, literally every lift hill was coated with several of them, and I even got to share my ride with a couple of them. This is my homepark, and the problem is most active during the summer, but is completely out of control for the park though.
I rode GASM for the first time last year. I was not ready!

I tell you what, when I go to California I will be so happy if the lines are only 45 minutes long, but I’m kinda bracing myself for 100+ mins
With the six flags people dropping a ball on the track, when I went to SFOG a high school employee was dribbling a basketball around like a soccer ball at the station in between/during loads
5:45 Not sure what rides they were talking about, but when I went there 3 months ago, every line was moving fast despite the crowds that day.
8:23 I haven't been on GASM in 5 and a half years, but it seems that the experience has gotten a lot worse in that time frame. Last time I rode it, though, It was smooth in the morning, but gave me a headache in the evening.
The funniest reviews are on Amazon dealing with sugar free gummy bears.
5:45 I had an experience where I waited in line for Rita for an hour and 20 minutes, and as we were near the front, the ride broke down. I get it, it’s frustrating, but it’s not something the park can control, I admit, I was very annoyed, but it’s not a fault of the park.
From personal experience, that Luna Park one-star review sounds exactly like Luna Park.

I can't with the one hour wait time and then waiting another 45 minutes for another ride 😂🤣😂! You were expecting walk ons for every ride at an amusement park? Don't go to amusement parks if that's your beef with waiting in lines. My first Cedar Point trip in 2005 I waited for a combined 2.5 hours for Top Thrill Dragster and never got to ride it that year because of the following - multiple breakdowns and when my cousins and I got on the train twice they called us off because of an incoming thunderstorm.
I have an appreciation of old woodies, but GASM is a full body jack hammer with a whiplash final brake.

1:10 Cedar Point's parking lot actually overflowed a couple times this year, they had to close it
5 hours to find a parking spot? That's because people drive around hoping to find a spot close to the entrance. They go in circles hoping someone is leaving. I've seen it happen; meanwhile there is parking spaces far away from the entrance.

Scream Machine would be awesome if they gave it a retrack and turned off the trim after the first drop. I had a decent ride on it but the others weren't great. Still think Wild Adventures' Cheetah was rougher though.
GASM was smoother back in the day. So much so SFOG actually ran the trains backwards for a promotional period. When running frontwards, I’ve unbuckled my seatbelt while in the back row to get crazy ejector airtime. Now the ride needs to be sponsored by a chiropractor. I’ve been less hurt by car accidents
I had once seen a Review on Black Mamba, saying they left the park because they thaught they could have been hit by a plant

3:00 This is why as ride ops at the park I worked we'd NEVER ask if the they were pregnant as a matter of official policy. The only time we'd deny someone a ride is if they had a visible cast, were under the height requirements, or had disclosed to us their pregnancy.
I agree with Sarah, I do not like Magnum XL-200. The airtime hills at the end are just too much and I get launched into my lap bar in a painful way every time. I have learned to brace myself before my forcing my thighs up by lifting my heels so I don't get yeted by the airtime hulls, but still don't like it because of that.
For me it's coming down the seats are too hard and they bruised my butt

The thing the sucks most about Great American Scream Machine is that it has a good layout by PTC but it was built by the people who went on to create RCCA (the worst ride manufacturer) which caused it to be so rough.
And putting the Georgia Cyclone trains on it.
It wasn’t always this rough. It only got rough when they put the Georgia Cyclone trains on it, which I hated. Not only did it make the coaster rough, I also have the potential to get stapled now, unlike with the buzzbars that allowed for crazy airtime. I still love GASM though, it was my first ever coaster.
An hour is good I have waited at CW for behemoth for almost 3 hours
GASM got a lot of attention in this video, but I think there is an even worse stinker at SFOG. It is Dahlonega Mine Train. Most people talk about it saying it’s just a boring old mine train with a few jerky moments and I laugh. Mine Train caused me to jerk so hard to the left during that tunnel sequence that I cut my elbow on the side of the car and drew blood.

Funny story I wrote the banshee at King's Island during Halloween haunt it took me 2 hours and 30 minutes to get on the ride
I like how people are complaining about 45 minutes wait, I waited 2 hours to get to the station of steal vengeance, and I was the next person on in the back row, and it shut down, no joke, we waited another hour, and it didn’t open, so a total of 3 hours and it shut down, however the guy at the station was awesome, and he gave us tickets to come again and get straight on, I still can’t complain because it was worth it and still my favorite ride
