How much talent does one woman possess? Voice of an Angel
This album is such a masterpiece, and the performances from these sessions are some of the best live performances I have ever heard of any band, and I listen to a LOT of music. Gives me goosebumps, honestly, takes an already beautiful album and puts it into a totally new dimension, they sound so incredible on these tracks, if I meet someone and they don't know this band, these clips are what I show them, and they become a fan.
Oddie is so amazing. His sounds are opening new dimensions. And his "introverted" technique is brilliant. The moment when he comes in at 1:10 is like a warm blanket touching your heart and your soul. Even when its unspectular to look at what he does between 1:10 and 2:19 i can tell you that what its all about to be a great guitarist. Not jumping around like in idiot on stage and play boring superfast solos.
Same technique is used by Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead in house of cards, you use a coin to play the guitar

Been a fan since 2015. Watching the maturity and evolution of this band is awesome. Elle's vox have crossed the threshold of it's all natural and effortless from here on out.

Ellie has the perfect vibrato. She does it correctly… like a tremolo, unlike many famous vocalists that move their pitch up and down, (which is the incorrect way to do vibrato.) I just love her voice so much.
similar to trumpet players except the tremolo is more difficult, especially at high pitches
So do I. It's got such an unusual blend of lush sweetness and a sort of soulful rubust strength..it's a very secure sounding voice...technically very strong in the middle register, she got a lot of body and control there which is quite unusual for singers...it's a really unique voice..

t(e lyrics…oooof. basically they described, like, 75 percent of every male i grew up with. and…if social media is what appears to be….how many folks, especially young adults…male AND female….does this song apply too. they could change the “he” to “WE” and it would be just as impactful

This is just breathtaking. Randomly got a ticket off a friend to see them at Ally Pally 5 years ago. This weekend lucky enough to see them at Glasto, and were one of the best acts all weekend and I'm a huge fan, particularly of this deep and awesome song.
