This song is a really special one to me. I can't describe it all that well, it just is. It feels like I'm being spoken to directly.
Nothing compares to that feeling of walking with my dog through the woods, listening to this song on loop through my little bluetooth speaker in my pocket as the sun sets on the horizon. It's a form of escapism I've never felt before and sometimes it really does help to imagine I am the last person here.

I will be forever grateful to the trailer for Transpotting 2 for making me discover Wolf Alice. I had started listening to Silk, Your Loves Whore, Giant Peach, Bros and other wonderful classics on repeat until I decided I needed more. So I went through all your music and man was I completely absorbed by it.
The type of rock you guys make is something out of this world. When I close my eyes listening to your music I feel like in space, a type of feeling I experienced only with the sorts of Pink Floyd and David Bowie. Ellie's both soft and cutting voice along with the majestic instrumental have helped me so much in some of my darkest periods in the last years.
The days in which that absolute masterpiece of Visions of a Life came out I was thinking of leaving my university studies due to bad grades and because I wasn't able to make new friends, and I had also just gone through a breakup. Well, Yuk Foo shook me up, Sadboy destroyed me, Visions of a Life built me up again. After that things went much better, I never left my studies and now I can safely say I am happy with my life (pandemic aside).
So THANK YOU WOLF ALICE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
P.S. Your concert in Milan was one of the best time I have ever had. Cheers!

I feel the same. Especially at 2 am the lonliness hits hard. The sun helps me forget during the day. Wax and waning is beautiful though, without it we wouldn't have life as we know it, so I'm ok in a weird way being lonely
This song is like a message to my younger self.
I fucked up so many things, relationships with family, friends and lovers.
Always wanting what I couldn’t have and never seeing what I did have until it was too late, then repeating it over and over.
Depression would come and go. I thought everyone else was to blame when I finals realised it was me and not them.... my world fell apart.
Slowly though, the realisation that it was me and my behaviour made me change.
Things are so much better now, I have a family of my own that I put first before anything, including myself and I’m getting married later this year, so I guess we can all change.
I was diagnosed with autism earlier this year, it helps explain why I was so bad with relationships, the depression, the selfishness. It’s not an excuse, but it does help me understand why.
The line “when your friends are talking....” really hit me.
I’m still uninterested in what they say, unless it’s a topic I love, but I pretend to be interested now, and I seem to keep friends because of it.

An average WA song is better than most
It's a very anthemic song, the way it builds over verse and chorus, as emotions swell. It summons up artists like David Bowie, Freddy Mercury & Queen, but also a uniquely Wolf Alice beauty. I don't love every song they've ever produced. But the ones I do love, I can listen to them over and over again.
I don't often get tears in my eyes from listening to music, but when I do...
This is one of those songs you have to immediately listen to again after the first time listening, incredible

I truly do not understand how this is not one of the biggest hits to come out this year. Just an incredible song.
I love the backing vocals she does on their albums. High registers that just mesh really well with the lead vocal in specific places as accents and emphasis. I love their productions. Not simple at all. Very intricate. They spend a lot of time and it shows. Refreshing in our loops world today.
This really made the end of episode 6 Sweet Tooth really emotional
It really did. Season 3 in 2 days! I can't wait to see more of Gus, Big Man, Pubba, Birdie, Bear, Dr.Singh, Aimee and the Hybrids General Abbot and so many other great characters.

Im a 6’5” 210 fully grown in shape adult male who discovered this band 1 year ago today. One song turned into entire library over and over day after day pretty doggone quick. I hadnt cried…hadnt shed a tear….since my grandpa died 28 years and 3 days ago….until i started listening to this band. its therapeutic,lemme tell you. I would drive a loooooong way to see these guys if they ever tour again but im afraid i might cryin like a baby in front of the masses lol. Want to pre order the album because I like this song a lot but it is really expensive to get a colored vinyl in the us and I don't want the standard black vinyl. I'm not paying almost $60 to get the vinyl from their webstore and not paying double the amount of money to get the blue version from Rough Trade. Hopefully the red version comes to the us or another cheap variant.

Wolf Alice is keeping rock music alive at a time when rock music is no longer the dominate genre in the mainstream. Their first two albums have been pure rock with no gimmicks and without trying to fit in with what is currently popular. I'm expecting their new output to follow in the same way. Long live rock!!!

First listening, first minute, I was like "Ok, could have been better but not bad". 🤔 Then comes that part at 2:30 that really spurs my attention. Been listening to the whole song for like 10 times now, and it gets better every time, like a wine that would improve with age, only at supersonic speed. Music sometimes has to do with sorcery, and WA are masters of this supernatural art.
