Beautiful work. After watching several of your videos I ordered the Franklin tumbler and some 3mm ceramic media; I'm anxious to see how the dice turn out. I see you're using the hardwood media now; is it better than the ceramic media? Thanks and looking forward to more of your creations.

I've tried both, and there's pros and cons to both, really. A lot of it comes down to personal preference. I personally feel like I get a better shine with the hardwood, but it seemed like the ceramic worked faster and was easier to clean. I also found that the ceramic gave a slight indent in my dice over time, but most people don't polish things for as long as I do (I do a couple weeks at least) and I've had other people who don't polish for as long (maybe a couple days) say they haven't had that issue.

This was actually my second attempt at this die because all the foil sank the first time! It still didn't end up perfectly even (one side has more foil than the other in this one, too), but I helped prevent it sinking as much by adding a lot more foil, and by waiting longer so that the resin was a bit thicker when pouring.
