I absolutely love these! You have inspired me to get out the laminator I bought over a year ago and never used. I think when I bought it I had a few specific ideas to try, but by the time it came in I had forgotten those ideas! Over 50 brain…the struggle is real.
All of these are fabulous! Those file folders though… 😍! Those alone have convinced me to haul out my laminator - and to try to make peace with my super annoying sewing machine. Thank you for another great idea! Wish me luck! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Wow Tracie, the finished work looks fantastic! I love them ❤️🥰 I have also worked with matt laminating pouches. It looks immediately different, so classy, a bit like velum. Maybe you can also emboss it after laminating. I'll give that a try. It might be too thick and break. I'll try it first with 2D and not 3D folders. I love the idea with putting the packing tape in between the pouches. I am wondering now if I could add some alcohol ink on to the tape, let it dry and then put it through the laminator. I will be trying that out later. After watching your tutorials yesterday I got my machine out and had to dust it off and played with it at 5.30am this morning. lol I am excited to play using my dies as well. Loads of ideas now in my head. Thanks for a great tutorial xx
Your video came on as I was hunting for my laminator. I will try your brilliant idea when I find the darn laminator. I re-organized and I only remember where it used to be🙄
I'm imagining the scene. I say to my husband "can you get the laminator down from the top of the cupboard for me" "what are you doing" he says, I say "I want to laminate some wrinkled parcel tape" , his response 🙄 "here she goes again'!!!!
So cool what if you use inks on the tape cut out pieces like you did the air bubble just random shapes and do like a stain glass effect or mosaic effect make your design on the laminate with the pieces then laminate it as one design hope I explained that ok lol 😂 edit to say sew around pieces in the design with black thread for the grout / stain glass effect
@@donnarainey9169 I’ve seen ppl use stays on inks or some of Tim Holtz inks to make aged tapes so whatever technique that is lol 😂 sorry not in the know with all the terminology so with my idea I was thinking along those lines using the scrap stained tape I’m so sorry maybe someone could help explain better if they understand where I’m coming from 😂
@@just4craftsngiggles454 I think it’s a great idea. I’m not up on all the terminology either . I used some inks the other day on some fabric to make marks and it never dried, I was just wondering if it would just smear on the plastic. Can’t wait to see if Tracie tries it! 😊
