Static was fine as hell and so talented it broke my heart to hear how he was treated at that hospital and when he cried holding his baby knowing that he wasn’t going to ever see her again 😢 . And his poor mom witnessing it all happen and not being able to help her baby boy

In my opinion he UPGRADED Aaliyah craft in a major way! Her collaboration with Static really set her off. So sad that they both passed. That album was my favorite by Aaliyah. RIP Static and Aaliyah. 🙏🏾🕊🙏🏾🕊..Thank you both for sharing your gifts.. Great channel, keep up the great work!👌🏾🫡

I got heavy into static in 2007, and I was soooo hurt when he passed the day after my 21st birthday at that. The way his music still touches r&b and hip-hop today is unmatched! Some of favorite songs/collaborations are “I got my”, “one man woman”, all of Nicole Wrays music he did, all of pretty Rickey’s music he worked on, the 100% ginuwine album, the list could go on and on. RIP to one of the best to ever do it, Static Major.
His death never sat right me much like how I feel about Aaliyah’s death. The doctors was so negligent it was murder.. we was robbed! Smh Static Major was such a great talent and a musical gem…Never got to see the fruits of his labor. A legend in my eyes! He deserved so much better. RIP Static 🕊️🙏🏾❤️ Thank you for covering Static! 🙏🏾❤️ More people should definitely know his story!
Such a senseless preventable death. SMH. But had his solo career taken off Drake definitely wouldn’t have been as popular. Rip to one of the best singer songwriters that ever was 💔
Exactly just like if Aaliyah never died ... There wouldn't be any Beyonce... Aaliyah wasn't willing to do all that Beyonce was.... Especially since Jay Z was very upset and felt upstaged that Aaliyah picked Dame Dash over him. Hence why he made sure to date Beyonce and initiated her to the powers that be. I’m from Louisville and static definitely made us impact. We still blasting his music!!! RIP Static. His death really shoo the cry at the time. They couldn’t let him blow all the way up smh
This was well put together! I’m always saddened that he doesn’t get the recognition he truly deserves. I met him briefly before his passing in Miami. He performed that night and as me and my friends were leaving he was in the parking lot passing around cds, something was telling me to let him know that I was a fan and love his work, but I didn’t want to bother him. It’s a moment I regret. I don’t think he knew how much his music meant for people. 🙏🏼 RIP Static
I’m from Louisville and actually have been in the studio with smoky back in the day! Lol it’s so crazy because this man is soooo underrated! I love this documentary! Static Major was such a gift to the music world but his spirit was even bigger. Born on 11/11🕊very powerful & angelic energy. I still listen to his music & enjoy his vibe. Static Major is forever Loved. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah Static was a big inspiration for many artists in the game including Drake. What a lot of people don’t know is that the piano sample from “Look What You’ve Done” off the Take Care album was from Static Major. Also Drake payed homage again on the song “After Dark” with Ty Dolla $ign on the Scorpion album. So trust me those who know how talented Static was, are very thankful for his contributions to the game.
My sisterfriend aka his wife keeps his music still alive You all are still hearing his music just dont know it. Some will sample his voice in background. but his songs and beats are bought...

Illuminati
He and Aaliyah both died from their biggest fears
I Thank you so much for this video I remember Static and I never knew he was so talented and wrote for so many people. I only thought he was on Lollipop. May he rest in Eternal Peace🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Wow! Static is a major contributor to many many hits out here! SALUTE!!!🫡👑🎯💕💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Such a sad story. He knew those hospitals weren't right! They killed his sister too! 😡🤬😞😦😳 just negligent and sloppy! Smh. Dang bra!!! Sis (his wife) my Deepest Deepest Condolences Sis!💧🪶 such an amazing individual!!!
Thank you for this story! EXCELLENT JOB! ❤
He is also credited on Brent Faiyaz Jackie brown. You can hear his vocals all in the background!
Wow.. there's a common denominator in this story who's name I thought of before u even mentioned it. It's crazy how many people who were tied to either (or both) Aaliyah and B met a strange and unexplained demise.🤔 Masterful work!!
Static knew lollipop would be the song that would help wayne crossover & said it would allow him to make any kind of song he wanted. The song was originally for pleasure p or pretty Ricky i forget, but he ended up giving it to wayne
😭 I wanna go back to the late 90's-early 2000's
I’m from Louisville and I know all of Playa… static is greatly missed! This video made me cry! U did amazing work as far as researching👏🏽👏🏽
Bad loss for the industry, was a genius. RIP to a GOAT truly
Rest Easy Stephen. I grew up with and went to school with Stephen. We love and miss you.
This is exactly why people dont trust the Medical Profession.
I just learned so much about Static Major from this video. Thank you so much.❤
Thank you for doing this!🙏🏿🙏🏿
Static was just a really incredible guy! It was such a pleasure seeing how he worked, and how creative he was. I actually even missed him calling me “Fess“ (he claimed I look like the black uncle Fester from the Addams family😂) he is still missed and now Magoo as well
Magoo Story is up now!
Man its crazy we listen to so much music but most times never know how they are orignated 😢 Gratitude family for putting together this body of work bro as i really enjoyed it
I really appreciate this story, Static deserves his flowers he was Major & his music will live on forever!
Ironically he didn’t trust doctors after his sisters death, him & his sister died from negligence from the doctors
Makes me wonder if his sister was sacrificed as well as him.
Damn I had no idea he wrote all those other songs! His pen game was insane! What a talent. Such a shame that the medical system that he didn’t trust was responsible for his demise. 💔
Static Major was such a gift to the music world but his spirit was even bigger. Born on 11/11🕊very powerful & angelic energy. I still listen to his music & enjoy his vibe. Static Major is forever Loved.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
3 years old, led 30 voice choir at that age (incredibly impressive), passed away at 33. 🕊 3's
Yeah he said all of that in the video bruh 😂😂😂
You didn’t watch the video did you? 🤦🏾♂️
I typed this as I was listening by the time the video got there I thought to myself ‘this is a pretty good comment’ lol
Truly a musical genius. Rip Static Major ❤️🙏🏽🕊
My sisterfriend aka his wife keeps his music still alive You all are still hearing his music just dont know it. Some will sample his voice in background. but his songs and beats are bought...
Wayne's sacrifice.Wayne probably did the application too.The industry wicked.
Im also from Louisville so this one took me back, it’s always sad to see a young life cut short, especially if it could have been prevented 😢
Not all legends are on stage. So sad how his death was completely avoidable.
Thank you doing this .. static is a legend finally somebody do a video bout him ❤❤❤
