Had my daughter late in life and you have a tendency to be more honest and answer questions as they come. Back of my mind I'm thinking, I'm not gonna be here for long after she's in her 20s. I'm 62 and she's 26 now. I have to teach her all I can to give her a good start in life. I get it that Ryan is doing the same with his daughter.
Ryan is such a good interviewer, and Kim has great stories, about as real as it gets.

Ryan, you're a good Dad, to prepare your daughter for the world. It's so important that kids know they can trust their parents, & go to them if they have questions or a problem of some kind. My parents were the last people I'd go to if I had a problem as a kid, & looking back, I can't help but think I would have been far better off if I had the kind of parents I could turn to, in times of trouble. I've always tried to be that sort of parent, for my son.
Also, the 90s were wild... I had a chemistry teacher in the 10th grade who never looked me in the eye- only @ my chest. The 30yo drama coach was sleeping with my 18yo friend. & the year before I started HS, the vice principal got fired for getting a student pregnant. Jesus.

I grew up in Baltimore County, in the late 90's to early 2000's. Holabird Middle, and Dundalk High two different teachers, one from each school would smoke weed with students regularly. One of them used to invite us to his house to smoke. It was well known with the "stoners" and I'm talking (well known) with multiple generations of students.
