- Will some of the figures I've bought go on the shelves or are they destined for the customizing bins? Does Robo just do this to open a bunch of toys at the same time? Either way is fine and fun! Let's look at some Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series like the Daredevil three pack, cartoon Boba Fett, retro carded Lizard, credit collection Tusken Raider, Dr. Aphra, and the Target Teeka!

That crazy Elektra head could be a great Rogue headsculpt
I really wish Hasbro/ Marvel Legends would do more sculpted detail! That Electra would benefit so much from the wrappings having some volume instead of just being painted on. I love the pin less look and the upgraded waist design on DareDevil, really hope they release him separate with better colors and some sculpted detail on the gloves and boots. I might buy the retro Lizard too....
Retro Lizard is my favorite figure of last year, you won't regret it!
I think a Daredevil on this buck with some bandage wraps and defined boots (like the Marvel NOW!/Shadowland one they release a while back) would be pretty pog ngl

The Lizard contains an interesting nod to the old Mego one, with one fist hand, one grip hand a a very “Gorn” looking second portrait
Lizard was one of the top figures from last year. Articulation was amazing. Sculpting and painting and the bendytale just made it perfect. I can understand people not liking the classic head but the second head makes it perfect. Looking forward to the future Todd McFarlane iteration with claws and a psychotic smile
That Lizard figure is so, so good. Definitely in my top 10 of the year and probably in my top 3-5 from ML for the year.
I really like the almost pastel-colored on the Droids Boba Fett... I think I'll have to get it sooner rather than later

That Tusken's paint... is its name Two-Head?
I like that Lizard a lot, but I had to learn to love that tail. For the longest time, it just felt like a required third leg. But when I started putting him in some low, crawling poses it became an essential third leg.
I need that Aphra. When I was big into Star Wars, Aphra was my favourite character, and while that's not the look from that time, it'll do. Plus, the face looks a lot better.
When we get a new Daredevil, the thing that'd sell me on it instantly is a black wash. *My* favourite Daredevil mega-super-pseudo character arc is from Smith to Bendis to Brubaker to Waid (yes, stuff happened between Brubaker and Waid, but whatever). For most of that, the costume was constantly draped in shadow and dirty and posed on a gargoyle (btw Robo, you could've used that Sentinel Peter B. Parker gargoyle for this if you still have it!) or rooftop. Lee Bermejo's covers with the eyes being completely in shadow is my definitive look for Daredevil. Now that I'm typing it... I might just get a red DD and do the wash myself!
That Elektra head is beautiful and that reminds me a Daredevil Elektra and updated Daredevil costume would be sick from Marvel Legends
As someone who is months behind in opening stuff too, I love these vids, I have 30% of the figs from this video so it's cool to see a quick 4min overview vs a 20min video on a jawa lol. Please do more of these.
Official Star Wars character: “Omelette Tusken” 😂 Maybe a scene with the Jawas and their “Sugahhhh” egg obsession. That Elektra with the big hair looks less like an assassin and more like a lady of the night. Man, I wish they would incorporate more ab-crunchiness like Aphra and Daredevil into more Black Series figs. Thanks ROBO! ❤🙏👏

I want them to do a Disney+ movie of Teeka and Obi-Wan on a rampage off-planet. Maybe have Haja rebuild 1-JAC and have them team up, too.
I ended up giving my Boba a spare Mando rifle and threw him up with my sort of post-ANH comics figures (I love that there are enough of those to give them their own space ngl) to fill in as Holiday Special Boba Fett since Luke, Han, and Leia in the 2015 run have the same outfits as they did in the cartoon short

I wanna like the credit collection, but I think like cel shading on X-men it looks better on screen than in plastic. It's crazy to think that red Elektra is only a few years old.
Credit Collection is a missed opportunity. They go too far with the paint most figures can't blend into a normal display.

I love that new Fans Vote Elecktra. I just wished it came with 2 two-finger weapon holding hands. Pinless, it doesn’t bother me unless the color is obviously wrong, but to be a different shade who cares.
I'm absolutely certain that I was one of the people who told you to go out and buy that Lizard figure immediately LOL But seriously, Lizard is freakin amazing, glad you liked the majority of the figures, I feel like this was more of a playday + overview video, almost none of these should be fodder haha

Right after I reviewed the What If? wave with the Watcher BaF in September of '21. Daaaaang, that feels like forever ago.
Another fantastic Figure or Fodder? by the kind, fun, lovable Robo because Daredevil to me does look so cool despite not having an unmasked comic style Matt Murdock head, Elektra looks really beautiful and I hope we do get a regular single release red suited Elektra along with a single re release comic red suit Daredevil.
I want to merge those Aphras. New sleeves, coat, and head on the old Aphra body and hat.
I feel like the alt elektra head would be perfect for rogue
Let's not forget to mention how soft the rubber is on Aphra's jacket.
That lizard would be great starter for a transforming Bruce banner. Change the hands feet and head.

Hey fwoosh, your recent gi joe video prompted me to pick up my very first joe figure, EVER. The new version of snake eyes and timber. I now know what I’ve been missing since the classified line started and I’m eager to get some more like spirit, b.a.t, storm shadow, croc master etc. snake eyes mixed with his great arsenal poses like a dream. And timber is no slouch either. I’m also planning on seeing how timber will go with shf’s megumi fushiguro from jujutsu kaisen.

Now put the BAF Lizard together and compare them! He's a bit tough to pose because he's top heavy, and mine has an arm that falls off.... (Probably just mine, because that's my luck.) But, it took YEARS to find a Mysterio with the leg, since BBTS cancelled their restock, so he's extra special to me 😁

I really wish the comic/book figures were more like the disguised Boba with the plastic free cutout.
I think they were able to do that cutout on the disguise Fett because it was Hasbro's own exclusive, will never see store shelves and pass through way less hands.
Not related to the video but apparently my Figma Bloodborne Hunter DX is in town in the courier van for delivery. So excited, one of my favourite games. Looks like an amazing figure, it just appeared for sale from a local retailer so I saved not only money on the figure but heaps on having it delivered all the way from the USA. Just a happy happy boy today. Bring on the Hunter.
I haven't the faintest idea where on my shelves he is going to fit. But I don't care, he will fit somewhere.
I feel like the creepy old woman in a horror film after the threat is discovered by the dumb teenagers 'I warned you, but you didn't heed my warning!' when it comes to you holding off on the Lizard figure. He made my Marvel Legends top pick of last year, and my second favorite figure of the year across all lines.
Glad you for the most part liked the Daredevil set, that was a highly anticipated release for me.
The Bullseye I'm fine with, but I prefer the last version. I don't dislike the design, and I like the crazier look the heads have with the photo real, but the actual quality of the figure was a let down for me. Gummier plastic than the last version, sloppier paint on the masked head, I had the same issue with the butterfly joint line too. All that said, the original is my all-time favorite Marvel Legends figure, and Bullseye is one of my favorite Marvel villains, so this version I was still okay with despite those issues. The original is in my Marvel comic villains display, this new one I have in my Marvel street level characters. Plus it was nice to be able to display that crazy screaming head.
I really like the Elektra figure, I missed the prior versions but I'm happy with this as my main shelf version even though it's not in red.
Likewise Daredevil I had no prior version of, he's my favorite Marvel hero but the earlier ones never looked right on that older body, so I'm more than happy with the version in this set. I don't love the clubs but everything else, the plainness of the costume, the head sculpt, the articulation, I couldn't be happier. I'd like to see one maybe in a brighter richer red, but this one's duller darker tone I feel works in contrast with say Spider-Man or the other Marvel heroes, that's often how I see him colored in comic hero group shots.
Well dang, you reminded me that I completely missed that unmasked Bullseye head. I like the new body a LOT more with that on there. And I like your reasoning to display both.
@@TheFwoosh It's funny that the only extra versions of villains I have are the new Bullseye and the retro Mysterio who I both have next to each other in my street level display.
It kind of accidently evokes Kevin Smith's Daredevil run where Mysterio hires Bullseye resulting in Karen Page's death, plus Elektra in white evokes her coming back from the dead after Bullseye killed her, so that's a great accidental unintended correlation in that display.

Mine is a complete mess. Essentially the same as it was in the last tour, just with more figures shoved in awkwardly, waiting for the next reshuffle and dusting session.

From what I understand, or at least it's the reasoning currently floating about, is that someone high up, maybe even Lucasfilm, doesn't like how doubles break the sculpt up from the front. Yeah....

I’m not a big Spidey fan, but passed on that Lizard. I’ve seen a few Dr. Conners customs, and Banner should be easy with him, too, but now that Egghead is coming, that’s less incentive to track one down.
