It's kinda a stereotype by Chinese/Korean influencers where they think American high schools allow students to style themselves/pose however they like for yearbooks

FYI: there’s a person in house who photoshops the pics you chose to make your skin clearer, etc. So all of her results are not the raw photos but the professionally retouched images.
I think it’s cool. 99% of people I know hated their yearbook photos or are embarrassed of photos taken when they were in school. This is a cool idea to do what you WANTED your yearbook pictures to look like. Besides, everyone wants to look and feel good
Man my yearbook photos have had to be redone because the photographers are there for the money so I just go to the actual companies studio to get it professionally redone Especially with that photo company having a celebrity type suite to freshen up in and get changed in and have: makeup, hair, clothes, and nail Stylists They even between shots will quickly freshen you up It's so frustrating that all of my yearbook photos throughout the years all had been redone at the studio 😭 They would literally retouch the image and would get rid of my freckles and the fact I have a big chest they literally edited cloth over my chest and other times they just edit my chest to be flat Studio is better than the photographers who come to the school
