    Great comparison! I know of a high end tile contractor that uses Huepar. I bought the Huepar stand for my laser and it is great for micro adjustments. My laser of choice is the Bosch version. The red has the brightest light in its class and the green has a tighter line that is brighter than the a Dewalt. Yet all of these are good choices for indoor use. I wanted a brighter light for outdoor use.

    I’ve been using firecores green laser one for about two years now and it’s still going strong. Bought it for 70$ new but the only thing it isn’t a 360 like these only has 2 lasers for vertical and horizontal. Might upgrade to this one though looks good especially at that price level for a 360. Thanks man keep up these great videos !

    For years I've owned two Keson laser protractors. They are very powerful for red lasers but hard to use. Moved to a David White self leveling...still my go to.
    Last year I bought a Bosch self leveling green laser. It was ok. The lines are thicker than a red laser and it ate up batteries horribly.
    I found a Johnson two by three sixty red laser for just over a hundred dollars. It's red lines are super thin and bright. Waiting for Milwaukee to get in the game. 😄

    I remember in the 90's when we had tons of very poorly made Asian knock-off tools that barely can get maybe 5 jobs done without falling apart, fast forward 30yrs and Asian manufactures can either be crap or premium quality... I have three China brand tools that are operating for the past 3yrs right along with my SKIL, Makita, and DeWalt tools, they are all working just as fine as those brands, weekly usage for hours, I have no issue buying Asian made tools, they really improved, I ended up getting a POPOMAN laser just because it was 120 less that the big names, when it arrived it was impressed, even the packaging is premium

    I’ve had my one for over a year and a half. I use it around twice a week for around 6 hours a day and it’s still going strong.
    My bosses desalt is a little better but if his battery is flat then he’s stuffed. In this situations I just throw in the AAs and I’m back in business.
    PS my $200 laser level has helped me put down more carpet tiles than my bosses $750 dewalt.
    Mine is always ready to go😂
    I couldn’t recommend it more.

    Funny you kept commenting on the Dewault lines being brighter but although they were a bit brighter they also looked fatter which when trying to get an accurate line measurement you would think you want the thinner more precise line the Huepar was giving. Huepar better in my view.

    I would not concider buying one unless they were rechargabe batteries. Replacing AA batteries every day is annoying at best. Can't believe Milwaukee don't have one in there m12 product line. They make just about everything else.. would prove to be popular if they did. But yes. Seems like a good deal for 200. Good review

    • @garethheathcote4988
      @garethheathcote4988 Před 3 lety

      It does come with. A rechargeable battery and you get over 8 hours runtime if you are using the replaceable batteries so you wouldn't go through those in a day.
      As I'm sure you will know Milwaukee have released a load of different lasers this week,the 3x360 one looks good.
