Van Helsing was the first film I ever watched. I was like a year or so old and my Dad took me to the movies to go watch it. He told to me that for the whole movie I was in a trance as the monsters like Dracula & the Werewolf were on screen.

Have you watched and/or included the movie "May?" It's a very strange, open to debate movie that creeped me out and kept me thinking for literally months after I saw it. The lead actress is so good at portraying a very complex character. One that is exceedingly disturbing on many levels, without any jump scares or loud music. Just seriously unsettling and memorable moments throughout. I loved it, but many of the people I've had watch it don't necessarily agree. Now on the other hand "The Babadook"...omg...so freaking disturbing, and very different imo from other horror movies of the time. That and "The Others" changed the genre, as far as slow burns, which I love 💜
